Looks like a keeper after last night. Saw him put pancake block Ravens on more than one occasion last night. Maybe we have a little line depth after all.

Pancaking lineman, and taking at Ray Ray in one on one situations. I loved it!

He handled Ray on that one play I saw.

I thought he was a wasted draft pick. After all, it was Carl who drafted him, right?

I never even noticed that Waters was out of the game. That's good, I think.

Same here. I think it was a play where Lewis was pancaked when I first noticed the #65. I was thinking.... damn.... way to go Black. I kind of kept an eye on Black for the next few plays, and he was doing a heck of a job.

Well he was playing gaurd, I think it would have been different if he was at RT or LT.

Seems like we can develope Gaurds really well.

Very true. But with Shields getting up there, maybe the heir apparent is already on the roster.

Waters has had problems with a muscle tear in his left bicep but last night they said it was cramps that took him out of the game. He was only out for a series or two.

They'd better be. Black and Williams were both decent linemen in college and hopefully we'll be able to develop them enough to take Roaf's and Shields' spots in a year or two.
