I'm thinking 10! I don't think our division will produce a wild card team. 10-6 may not be enough. Then again it might if Denver chokes in the latter half of the season. :thumb:

Expect a Denver choke. I think 9 could do it. There is no way that Denver can stay at the top of the division.

10 wins to be safe, but shoot for 11 to take the division

We have to win the Denver game at Arrowhead. We lose that it won't matter...

I say at the most, we can only lose three more games but Denver is going to have to start losing soon or we are in deep Raiders

I think we have to go 11-5...

I still say we have to win 10 more games or we all will be talking about offseason moves a lot sooner than we would like.

We will have to probably win the division at this point. 3 losses this early will make it tough for a wild card.

The beauty of the Chiefs schedule is that they really hold their own destiny in their hands. They still have 5 divisional games so they have the opportunity to get ahead of Oakland and San Diego. They also play other conference games against likely divisional winners or the leading wildcard contender.

Unfortunately, the Chiefs are not masters of their own destiny. We have [1] game with the Broncos and that will not make up the deficit. We are now dependent on the kindness of strangers.

Agrees with the opinion that there will be no Wild Card from the AFC West.

If the Chiefs were to somehow sweep the rest of their AFC schedule they will make the playoffs. They will have beaten the other wildcard contenders.

Denver is not that good; their O is putrid. 10-6 will probably win the division.

A tie with Denver goes to the nest round of tie breakers, I think it is confrence record, AFC records, then like opponets.

We better win the division, a wild card probally will not happen with NY tearing it up. Indy and NE as div. winners. That leaves 3 teams left, 2 are division winners.

KC,Den.,Balt.,Cincy,Ten.Jax. just to name a few WC contenders !
