I'm caught in Cincinnati this weekend. Does anyone on the BB call Cincy home? If so, is there a good place to go watch the game? Get me to the right place, and I'll buy you a beer for every touchdown we score!

Great suggestion. Would it be silly of me to ask, "Who's Katie?"

I would.

But, considering you have a tendency to stick bars of soap up your butt, I shudder to think what you'd do with a bone.

What would you say if the first word I thought of when you said bone, was probiscus?

No f*cking way. Go UMR!

I think someone mentioned the other day that she changed her name. But, I don't know what her name is now... so I'm not even sure if she's posting regularly anymore.

Considering I have no idea what that is, not much.

84. Nice. Back when Pats was really out of control.

They were 9-1 the year before I got there. Nationally ranked, but wasn't invited to the play-offs. I had signed a letter-of-intent to play (basically they wanted me to long-snap), but after getting there and meeting one of the the defensive tackles that roomed next to me, decided I was out of my league!! That's what both girls that were going to school there at the time told me too!!

ROFL Gotta love reading the UMR student newspaper...

The trip would have been a complete success, except for the 20 minutes I spent in jail for public intoxication.

Go to "HOOTERS". There's a few of them around town. :thumb:

If you had been at UMR when I had, you would know going to Hooters would not do a thing to salve memories of it. Hooters.....at UMR?......unthinkable......of any size, shape or orientation!

I miss Rolla. I go back every year for Pat's.

Every time I drive through Rolla anymore, I shake my head and think to myself: "Geez...Did I really waste two years of my life here?"

Well, I take that back... $3 rounds of golf is never a waste... (It ain't that great of a course, but dang good prices...)

Rolla was the best 3.5 years of my life to this point. Every time I got back I wish I could've stayed longer.

Course, every time I go back there's fewer of my friends still in school. I suppose the day will come when I'm too old for such tomfoolery. But, right now, I love it!

It must have gone through some major changes in the last 20 years! All I remember are profs whose names I couldn't pronounce, and drunken stagg parties I wish I couldn't remember!

I remember a Chemistry prof name Beistle (sp?) who always came into class acting like he just got out of a drunken stagg party...and on "Mole Day" he was flat plastered, no question...

I never took Chemistry at UMR... but I think I know who you're talking about. There was always talk around the fraternity house that he wasn't drinking just coffee out of his coffee mug.

His coffee was always "clear"...

I had him for Chem 5...and the year I took him (1st semester freshman), he lost half the classes' lab portion of the grade and gave 'em all incompletes... I never heard how all that was corrected...

Was Dr. Kramme (vocal music dept.) still around when you guys were there?

I remember a guy that taught our one and only lit class we had to take. He had some sort of disease. He walked around like he was from "Night of the Living Dead". Nice guy, but whoa.....

I wrote a beer song to that in my Calc 3 class while I was there...still remember it...

Do, a beer a frothy beer
ra(y), a drop of golden beer
me, myself, I want the beer
fa(r), a long run for a beer
so, I'll take another beer
la...yeah...just give me the dang beer
te(a), I'd rather drink a beer
And now I will fall down...do, do, do, do, DOH!

Yeah, it's kinda stupid, but it flowed...funny thing, though, I hate beer...kills too many brain cells...kinda like that song...

A few years back I spent a week at AK Steel in Middletown. We partied our asses off but I got so drunk I can't remember where any of the bars were in Cincy.

Did you eat any LaRosa's Pizza? One of the best thin crust pizzas I've ever eaten. They can get pretty creative with some of their specialty pizzas too.
