My daughter got a telescope for Christmas just for watching this eclipse. We watched the one last year together, taking turns with my binoculars, but I figured having her own telescope, she'd enjoy it even more.
We were out there from 9-10 EST watching it. She had to call it a night before the total eclipse, but she got to see enough of it to enjoy it. Some of our neighbors came over and watched with us.
All in all, a very enjoyable experience.
DooDah Lite was totally socked in with fog.

Damn, I slept thru it ? It must have came in slowly not making any noise !
Very cool, everyone was outside my apartment watching it. Was a deep burnt orange when it was completely covered.
