Based on a survey of 354 current and former players. Players were not allowed to vote for members of their own team.
Who has the best hands in the NFL?

Marvin Harrison (WR, Colts) ...... 41%
Randy Moss (WR, Vikings) ........ 19%
Jerry Rice (WR, Seahawks) ...... 13%
Torry Holt (WR, Rams) ................. 7%
Tony Gonzalez (TE, Chiefs) ......... 3%
Terrel Owens (WR, Eagles) ........ 3%
Keyshawn Johnson (WR, Cowboys) ........ 2%
Marty Booker (WR, Dolphins) ..... 2%

Fast Facts: Chiefs tight end Tony Gonzalez, who is six catches shy of 500 in his career, was only non-WR in top nine vote-getters... Harrison is only NFL player to make more than 100 catches in four straight seasons; he did it from 1999 through 2002.

I love having Tony as a Chiefs and all that but his drops have always driven me nuts. He makes some spectacular catches at times but I am not sure I would include him in this list.

Terrel Owens on this list is a joke.

Where is Hines Ward?

Joe Jurevicius (sp?) comes to mind. Was it last year or two years ago, the game where he made a couple of ridiculous catches?

I've been driven nuts, as well.

He isn't dropping nearly as many now as he did in the past.
But his propensity for dropping passes a couple of years ago really left me questioning why every one thought he was so great.

Not sure TO is a joke on the list but I do understand your point of Hines Ward. I really wish that guy was a chief.

That list is pretty bad.

I would have Marv on it, as well as Hines, as whatshisface said. I can't name a whole list off the top of the top of my head, but I'd str0ngly consider putting Andre Johnson 0n it.

T.O. has great size, speed, quickness, leaping ability....but he does NOT have great hands. Ask any niners fan.

He doesn't. Neither does Moss. The only r3ason they were voted up there is because of p0pularity.

I'm not a niners fan, but living in the bay area the past few years convinced me that TO should not be on this list at all.

His size and agility make him elite. His hands do not factor into the equation.

Perhaps Johnnie Morton could show him a thing or two about how to avoid the dropsies.

I have to give Johnnie his props. He had great hands in Detroit for years. Came to KC and dropped several passes last year and the year before. This year he has only dropped two passes (would have been three but the one he dropped last week was nullified due to a penalty).
