Just as i suspected, and Bellichek and Spurrier have known for a long time.....Manning Folds like a little bitch when you put pressure on him and hit him in the mouth. His timing is waaay off today due to Guns pressure Defense.

Your ability to guage weather this team is doing good to bad in the middle of the game is poor. Thats the best way I can explain it.

Yes...he did..they key was he shut down the running of James..all the difference in the world.......The reason Manning had so many yards was he was forced to play come from behind the whole game..plus, hes a damn good QB.

Wake the hell up DeBerg.
Good thing we were up against the #31 defense in the league.

Remeber we were playing Manning, the Colts, and the refs (giving Manning extra chances with marginal PI calls). Of course they are going to gain lots and lots of yards. Give Gun and his D credit for a) shutting down the run and making the Colts one dimensional and b) stopping several drives with no scoring. The difference from 10 mos ago could not be more obvious.

umm of course they shut down the run. they only ran it 12 freaking times and still could of won this game if indy D had any skill at all. i refuse to give credit for stoping the run when they only tried 12 times. of course alot had to do with indy playing ctach up which helped out the D big time. it was the offence that made them pass happy not the D

I give Gun credit for the aggressive D in the first half that kept Manning somewhat out of his rhythym.

I blame Gun for the prevent D to start the 2nd half that allowed Manning to find his rhythym.

I blame the refs for bad calls that allowed the Colts to score a couple of TDs in the first half, and the non call on the PI in the end zone on Kennison at the end of the first half, that kept the Chiefs from running away with it.
