"Closer," dude. He's a "closer."

Let's see if he has the balls to close this one up tonight. Or, if he is the new poster boy for the following:

I know Taco John, Cochise, I was friends with Taco John. You sir, are no Taco John

You know, what is funny is that Cassandra was a mythological figure who always predicted doom and gloom. No one ever believed her. TJ is a lot like her, except for that detail when she was always right and he never is.

How about some more of these for a nightcap?

"The debates will determine the outcome of the election"

"Democratic get-out-the-vote will win it"

"The Democratic base is so energized"

"Im John Kerry and Im reporting for duty!"

Looks like America wanted him as bad as the Swifties!

From the possibly-true-but-what-does-that-say file:

"He's the most electable candidate"

"F/911 will give Kerry 5 points"

What about "stealing some of the more central republicans votes"?

Well, it looks like the final totals confirm that yes, a stake should be driven through the large turnout = Dem win myth.

If I'm leading the Dems I would be very worried about the future. The GOP now has proven they have a ground game that is much better than the Dems (due, partially, to the fact that the GOP controlled their ground game while the Dems out-sourced it to the 527s). Without anger at Bush to drive them to the polls in 2008, how are the Dems going to keep up.
