100% reported in Nevada with Bush leading yet still not called. What are they waiting for?

ROFL I know, ABC just said "100% reported in Nevada".... but they're not calling it. They're just trying to be overdramatic for good TV, I guess (he says at 3:30 am on a Wednesday).....

The magical provisional ballots to appear marking a major come from behind victory for Fer...err..Kerry.

I don't have a clue on Nevada...Bill Richardson was just on saying that they had to go find votes on the Indian reservation (I'm not making it up) in NM and that Kerry would make up the deficit...and in Iowa they said the machines in one precinct was broken and they couldn't count any more votes tonight.

Sounds like they're doing everything they can to not give Bush more than 269 electoral votes because they want to see if the Dems need them to play along.

Like I said on the other thread, if Kerry doesn't have the decency to concede when he gets his ass beat by four million votes I don't think this will be conceded until it reaches the Supreme Court.

Oddly enough, one of the maps I've been watching had Bush pulling ahead in NM all the way to 100% of the vote. Now they have 103% of the precincts reporting and Bush has dropped a couple thousand votes. How can you have 103% of Precincts report? I'll bet those 3% are all voting for Kerry.

Yeah, that's what Richardson came on the phone to say...that they found new votes in a new precinct...it sounded really weird...then he said that they had to go find some Indian votes...

I'm convinced that no one is going to call any of these races because they're all saying that there could be enough absentee ballots to swing them the other way. How he gets 140,000 provisional ballots to count (much less count for Kerry) remains a mystery, but I guess he wants to drag this whole thing into the House of representatives and the senate.

I thought the "The Next Vice President" bit was rather arrogant.

Foul Play in New Mexico???

I've been keeping track of the key states for quite some time. In New Mexico Bush was steadily pulling away from Kerry from 75% on. At 98% he had a 25,000 vote lead. With 1% more precincts reporting, Bush's lead dropped to 1,700 votes. I find it odd that 1 precinct could make up 4.6 percentage points difference.

Guess they found some Indians. I'll bet they find about 2,000 more before morning.

After Richardson said they found 20K votes (which all happened to be for Kerry evidently) and got Kerry to within 1000 votes of Bush he was talking to everyone. Then they started counting some more and Bush's numbers started going up again and he literally kicked the media out of the counting area. Now they're doing it behind a locked garage door.

Quick...Quick...fill out these ballots...

Kermit the Frog would probaly do better than anyone.

Anyway, damned if we do, damned if we don't. If anyone wholeheartedly believes that these powerful politicians such as Bush or Kerry care about the common american(98% of americans) is a fuggin idiot. They don't care about us. They only care about their portfolio, the money they will command after thieir political career is over for speaking engagements, their houses in the south of France, or their 10,000sq ft. mansions in Crawford, Tejas, their corporate buddies that have straggled them along for years. Sorry to tell you Americans(myself included), we've been hijacked. Hijacked by a bunch of self-serving bunch of hypocrites that take none of our interests to heart. We've been bamboozled, lied to, take advantage of and set down in a lump of shit. And the sad part of it all, people are happy with that.

Now that I think about it. My pop bottle island doesn't sound like a mighty bad idea at all.

The networks who called Ohio for Bush, haven't called Nevada for him. Meanwhile, all the networks who say Ohio is too close to call have Nevada in Bush's column. I think Fox and MSNBC are just afraid to call the race over while it is still in dispute, but don't want to retract their calls in Ohio.
