Currently the Ohio SoS shows 135,000 outstanding provisional ballots (none of which have even been verified yet). This number includes Cuyahoga, Franklin and Hamilton counties (best for Kerry). Based on how the provisional ballots have been approportioned by county so far there will be approximately 150,000 ballots issued - if that many. For Kerry to flip he'll have to buck the trends and gain in the absentee votes that are outstanding as well as get almost every provision ballot approved AND all of them will have to go for him.

I don't know what the good senator is thinking or if he's going to try and raise some other chickensh!t legal challenge, but I just don't see where he comes up with 145,000 votes.

This isn't Florida. He lost the popular vote by more than 3,000,000 votes and the disparity isn't in the hundreds of votes. It's more than a hundred thousand votes.

But, hey, I guess the guy can keep me amused for another month.

Try to convince him of that.
