View Full Version : Final (Corrected) Exit Poll Data (2004 Weighting - 37% GOP, 37% DEM, Plus Lots More)

All the weighting that used 2000 and 2002 numbers (35% GOP, 39% DEM) ends up being way off. But there is a lot of interesting polling info here from the people who voted. These are evidently corrected figures from the exit polling data (see the gender breakdown is no longer 59% female). Anyway, thought it was interesting stuff...enjoy!

Bush's decision to play to the base ends up being the correct strategy. Did find it interesting that those who voted on Iraq went overwhelmingly for Kerry despite all the polls that showed people trusted Bush more (of course that could just be a result of the fact that those who claimed it was the primary motivator for their vote were anti-war, but who knows).
