Iowa Rarely goes for a Republican President.......Gore won IA in 2000. I really felt Bush would win IA this year........I sure know alot of people who changed to him this time.

Taxing federal refunds goes way back to Robert Ray. Iowa has pretty much always taxed refunds.

I'm not quite sure how the state could tax your federal tax refund. You've already paid taxes to the state on that money once already.

No. This wasn't the taxation of the federal tax refund that you get post-April 15th...Iowa has always done that, you're right.

No-sack wanted to tax our $600 refund check from the first Bush tax cut...
