Ok here we go. So see im in the 5th year of my franchise, ok. I have 2 players demanding for me to make them the starter or there will be trouble.

The 2 players are Dante Hall and Rosevelt Colvin. Problem is at WR I have Michael Clayton who is a 93 overall and Koren RObinson who is a 92 overall, and Dante is a 91 overall.

On the Linebacker side, I have Fujita, Scanlon, and Fox as my linebackers, Fujita now is a 93 overall, Scanlon is a 92 overall, and Fox is a 91 overall just like Colvin.

I had thought about moving him to Defensive End to start there but i have Jason Babin there who is a 89 overall and i started the season with Colvin there than made the change cause he couldnt get no pressure on the QB but i started getting alot of pressure by changing to Babin.

So there for im stuck in a situation that I dont know what to do. Should I trade Hall in the offseason for a 1st round pick with me having "He Hate Me" there to be a return specialist, or should I keep him.

Help would be very appreciated. Thanks/

Yea i know Rod Smart is, and I have him on my team too, so should i trade Hall and use Rod Smart or what should I do ?

if you have a good fan base you should just cut your players and shoot for an 8-8 season. That way you still make a profit

Well the problem is if Dante doesnt start he'll set out the year and wont play for you ever again and will be demanding to be traded.

Well if you don't want that then start him or trade him.

Use dante and trade rod smart and colvin for a need player

Well really the only thing i need is a Defensive End that can be dominating on the Right Side, my defense is currently up to a 90, on my defense i have, LDE Kevin Lee (guy i drafted), LDT Junior Siavii, RDT Ryan Sims, RDE Jason Babin, LOLB Scott Fujita, MLB Rich Scanlon, ROLB Keyaron Fox, LCB Will Allen, RCB Julian Battle, FS Adrian Wilson, and SS Greg Wesley, the only player i need to replace is Babin because he is more of a linebacker than a defensive end.

And I need nothing on Offense im set with, QB Phillip Rivers, RB Derrick Blaylock, FB Omar Easy (he improved big time), WR Michael Clayton and Koren Robinson, TE Tony Gonzalez (might be time to trade him for Kellen Winslow Jr. cause he's declining), LT Bryant McKinnie, LG Brian Waters, C Ryan Lilja, RG Jordan Black, and RT Kevin Sampson.

So if theres a position I need to upgrade its Defensive End and Tight End.

Actually Belichick is my coach now, Vermeil is with the chargers and i have one of the greatest linebackers of all time as my defensive coordinator. That would be Mike Singletary.

I play it when buddies come over, but I can't get through a full season. If the Chiefs were contending, it'd probably be different. The one video game that's really held my interest lately is GTA:SA.

Think about this... I'm a Mizzou fan. In basketball last season, they were preseason top 10... complete and utter flame out. (including NCAA sanctions) In football this season, more of the same. No sanctions, but we burnt a year of eligibility for a promising player, because our coach got his ego bruised.

I'm also a Chiefs fan, and a Royals fan. Ugh... I don't think I need to say any more.

You know i did try that, it worked with some, but some of them it didnt work with, like LJ, so i shipped his ass of to the Raiders, after all he did hit his girlfriend over the top of the head with a pistol in his rookie season, so he should fit right in with them. :p

I don't see what's so hard about this.

Dante can't old any of the other players jock as a wide receiver.

He's a good returner. But he's being an asshole and you have Rod Smart.

Adios Dante.

Same thing with your defensive ends. Keep the better player and trade the first asshole that pipes up.

I traded Eric Hicks this offseason after I benched him for Wilkerson and he started whining.

Arizona is where old KC Chiefs go to die. McCleon, Hicks and Warfield.

That's because you're exploiting weaknesses in the game's programming and playing against inferior AI.

There's no reason to be that far under the cap. Instead of exploiting the fact that the computer will let you, spend that money. Make some mistakes. Do you save your game before the draft and do it over if you don't get the guys you want? It's basically the same thing.

As far as your defensive line, if you were using my sliders, that line would get you KILLED. But you already said that most of your players are 90+. I'm guessing that all those unproven rookies are already 85-90+, right? I mean, you're discussing whether you should drop a disgruntled 90+ Dante Hall because you have 90+ Robinson and Clayton in front of him. I don't have that problem in my franchise because:

1) Hall plays behind Kennison and my 3rd WR is Aaron Moorehead.

2) Hall is an 83 OVR and will likely NEVER be 90+.

The reason for this is that your games are too easy -- your players progress rapidly when they start racking up massive stats.

Tougher sliders would be a good start.

Yeah, it's a flaw/oversight on EA's part.

They only have 1 DT position on the depth chart, no matter whether you run a 3-4, 4-3, or whatever. So the #2 DT isn't "technically" considered a starter by the game...

It's dumb but that's the way it is.

Having not read the entirety of the thread...
I base these decisions on age. Youngest player stays, oldest gets the boot. In my second season, I traded Trent Green for a high(91) young CB(25) and a 2nd rd. pick.(Eli Manning was a 91 overall after one year of starting.)

ESPN NFL2K5, in my opinion, is a lot better than Madden. Wr's actually look at the ball in that game. LOL. But, I think Madden has a tighter franchise mode with the mini-camp drills. thats sexy. But, ESPN wins in gameplay no doubt. Its so realistic that me and my friend return punts with Dante Hall and shake a lot of people with him. (Right stick jukes) I say you guys try this game, its da shiznit. And its only 20 dollars.

Peace out dis yo' homepancake SuttBex in da house.
