Why does it always take forever for Rainman to get his poll up?...

His wife wants to know the answer to that one!

Kawika..see if this guy can learn to play MLB.
Beisel...obvious reasons.
Keyaron Fox..see what he's made of.

Of course, i'd like a rotation of all of them.

Caver, Fujita, and Mitchell. I would honestly bring in Beisel, or someone similar as a 4th, and run a 3-4 defense. Using the fastest, and smartest (Fujita) as a spy.

This will negate long pass plays on the bootleg, and as long as he's smart and fast enough, he should be able to help plug the gap on runs. Then, maybe 20% of the time, blitzing him up the middle.

Rats. I meant to vote for Beisel instead of Mitchell, but I screwed up.

Fujita, Beisel, Fox. That's the way to go, in my opinion.

Fuji for sure.

Then I'd like to see a rotation of Beisel/Mitchel in the middle and a rotation of Caver/Fox/Scanlon on the the other OLB spot oposite of Fuji with Beisel and Caver getting respective starts. I'd like to see which of these new guys get some solid rotation and see what they can develop into. Our best 3 LB are Fuji, Beisel, and Mitchel. I think Mitchel and Beisel both are showing promise at MLB and they need to play that spot without the added variables that come from trying to learn multiple spots. I also would go with Beisel first, if healthy, because from what I've seen in games, I think he has a small edge on Mitchel. Of the other 3, Caver seems to be the best right now, so I'd give him the start.

Dislcaimer: evaluations would be on a game to game basis and the starters could change from week to week. I am also working from the angle of developing future talent at this point.

Fox ...OLB
Fujita ...OLB
Scanlon ...MLB

Give them a chance to see if they can be as good as I think they can.

Let the others fight it out for backups, they have had there chances.

Fujita, Mitchell, Beisel start and I rotate Fox in to see what he's got.

Ah...there's that poll.

Anyway, I voted Fujita, Mitchell and Fox.

We need to see if Mitchell is worth a shit. Fujita needs to keep developing because I have a feeling he will be a mainstay for years in KC.

Actually, I had Scanlon down to replace Morton at WR and didn't want him having to go both ways the entire game.

I'd like to see Fox play, but there must be a valid reason why he keeps sliding down the depth chart. What is it with the Chiefs and not being able to develop defensive draft picks in recent years?

Starting the year injured is probally his biggest downfall right now. Just hasn't had to many chances to show what he can do.

I conquer (word of the day calendar). Have Scan or Mitchell as the 4th.

Fujita, Beisel and Fox. IMHO Mitchell has no future other than as one more Carl bust.

Great. So we've completely decided that Mitchell is crap after seeing him play less than 16 games, is that correct?

Because that Trent Green guy sure didn't pan out.

Mitchell has some game, problem is it's not enough right now to merit the playing time he gets.

He needs more coaching.

Mr. ArrowheadWolf has been changing it, Mr. go bo. Sadly, I have been forced to abandon it until he finds something else to occupy his time.

Who ever is healthy! I would like to see Fox get some more reps though.....IMO Gun and Pagot(sp?) are doing all right with out LBs and they are not the reason for our recent losses.
