Patriots 49 (a couple of late junk td's once our d is demoralized)

Chiefs 17

Dick cries. We drink. Gretz and Whitlock and KK go off. It rains. we drink some more.

I really hope I'm wrong.

Even as good as Blaylock looked last week, without Priest, KC has little chance.

We'll squeak out a win. Adam Vinatieri will be haunted by the time he hit the goalpost when he last tried a game-winning field goal against KC, and he'll choke again this time.

If we have:
NO TURNOVERS by the Chiefs, no fumbles, no blips or dootsie doos by the WR's
Blaylock needs 100yds and 2 TD's
we need a great game by Gonzo
at least three 3 and outs by the Pats

After the game, DV will tell everyone that the chiefs could have won if the defense could have stopped the big plays.

We will win big, and we will beat San Diego big, which will give us false hope.

We will then lay an egg at Oakland. Kerry Collins will shred our defense for 350+yards, and the announcers will be slobbing his knob saying how great he is.

Don't you hate that..when a shitty QB comes in and shreds us, and the announcers swoon over how he has "turned the corner" and gotten better? No you idiots, he is facing a pop warner style defense!

I would think it would have been the offense didn't score enough.

Chiefs win. They've been playing to the level of their competition all year.

I disagree.

I'm pretty sure that secondary is going to play bad no matter what. :(

They're going to get ripped up.

I was there/ It was the damnedest thing I ever saw. It was a good defensive football game. my prediction. Pats get slobberknocked. Kc scores two td's on defense. trent over 300 yds. 34-21.

This sounds plausible to me. KC will have 500 yards of total offense and 3 TOs... :banghead:

Oh I forgot to add this little tidbit also to my post:

The Chiefs will lead 45-20 going into the 4th. The Pats will then deliver a 28 point barrage to which the Chiefs and their fans will scream out "WTF HAPPENED LOSERS!"

As I said, they've been playing to the level of their competition.

How else do you explain wins over Baltimore, Indy, and Atlanta. But, losses to Houston, Carolina, New Orleans, and Tampa Bay?

Seasons toast after this unless we can ruin
the Bronko's chances of winning the AFC West
by beating the bronko's and allowing SD to beat us twice :)

One part of a machine cannot possibly produce a worthwhile product or result. All the parts working together, however, can produce unbelievable results,,,,,,,,

If we can't beat the Saints when we get 200 rushing yards I doubt if we can beat a team with a good defense.

I think the Chiefs will win. They are at home, and they always seem to win the week after a disastrous game, giving us all false hope.
