Alright kids believe it or not( or dont care) i recently sold all my APBT stock in a package deal.
And i want to get a Boston, preferably from a breeder here in MO. and NOT a puppy mill. Someone on this board has to steer me in the right direction.Ive been doing research and all i can seem to find are peddlers.

Any help is appreciated.

I don't about anything from Boston but I am seriously thinking of picking up some of that Mayday blood we discussed. Pups dropped last weekend, going up this weekend to check them out. 6 Females 4 Males.

I was tired of the shitheads you have to put up with.Plus i have more critters than i want to feed and 20+ dogs(thats right) takes alot of time out of a social life and i havent been on a vacation for 5 years and if you go anywhere to visit family you cant be gone more than 24 hours. So something had to give.

I still spend 2+ hours everynight after work taking care of chickens.

Im just looking for a buddy.

Good size litter, I Think I will have my choice of 4 females. Didn't you have one of your APBT's as a house dog?

Have you tried looking up the Boston Terrier Club of America?

Usually they have breeder referrels or email groups that you can join to get info.

Try www.bostonterrier.org - they have a message board.

Also http://www.bostonterrierclubofamerica.org seems to have some good info. It looks like they may have a breeder referrel.

Good Luck!

My boston is extremely hyper...

Of course, he also ingested some mind-altering substances earlier in life...

You'll never find a more loyal dog, IMO.

Hyper doesnt bother me and i like a BullDog personality. There was an old man i used to visit w/ about chickens and he had some bostons and i really liked them. And i dont want a big dog or a cat, so im on the hunt but i refuse to buy from a farm/mill.

Ever consider an English Bully?

Or a French. I know someone that specializes in French Bulldogs, but I'd call them a farm/mill (even though they deny it up and down).

Mo,

I have great connections for APBT, American Bulldogs and English Bulldogs. The English Bully connection is blood off of the last English Bully to win the all around at the Wesminster's dog show. They are spendy at $1600-2k.

I love Bostons. I used to raise them. There is a kennel in Seligman, Mo. that raises them. I can't remember the name of it though.
