All boozed up at 3am because you're too shit faced to heat anything up.

I love this time of year.

No motivation and lots of over-indulgance.

The whole ass-as-pie-server thing seems kind of unsanitary. Is there any way we can serve them separately?

Hold the pumpkin and use sweet potatoes instead.

Sissy.

I bet your momma cut the crusts off your sandwiches and made sure your lunch had each food in separate containers.

One time when I was about 10 years old, I came home from school hungry. There was very little to eat in the fridge, as the quartermaster (mom) was not doing her matriarchal duties. I found a can of pumpkin in the pantry, and decided to eat it, as I thought it would taste like pumpkin pie.

Fvcking nasty.

Yeah, that half and half, allspice, sugar, eggs, nutmeg, and flour all have a little impact on the taste.

I was 10, and it had a picture of a pumpkin pie on the can. I was clearly deceived.

By the way..I did not see "By the pie tin" as on option.

The pumpkin pie in this country could be produced at a fraction of the cost, and with much better taste, if it were made with industrial hemp.

INDEED.

Years ago my wife made sweet potatoe pie for a Thanksgiving dinner and ever since then it's become a staple for the holidays. I love that stuff.

I selected all of the first five options. I did not select the sixth, only because I've never had it with boysenberries.

Never met a pumpkin pie I didn't like.

My favorite is Derby/Dixie pie. Its the best. My GF is making it for me, for thanksgiving.

Screw that, if it was made with THC laden marijuana it would be much more enjoyable and probably become a major revenue generator.

Well, sure if you want to create a nation of marijuana addicts. Oh, the social costs!!

Saulbadguy

I really don't like apple pie all that much. I don't dislike it, and I wouldn't turn it down, but it is probably my least favorite of all pies. Except Mince pie..that is so disgusting.

Never pure rhubarb..always mixed with strawberries, to calm the "tartness" down of the rhubarb. Very tasty. :)

I've never enquired about what type of crust is on my pumpkin pie, but I'll assume that it's flour crust. Cold and hot pumpkin pie are both pretty good, but I'd rather have a slightly warm pie...anyone else have this preference? No whipped cream!

Rhubarb pie is awe-inspiring, a symbol of this great land in which we live. If rhubarb had a better marketing person it would be the national pie.

I remember eating rhubarb pie when I was little, it was really good, but I haven't eaten any since, I think I may try to find one. Thanks for reminding me. :thumb:
