Why bother getting Ricky while we can get Bong Morris for cheap? *shrugs*

you know, if the Colts decide to go the Manning, Edge, Wayne and Stokley route next year, how sweet would Marvin Harrison look in a Chiefs uni? :o

Of course, I'm sure the money could be better spent somewhere along the defensive side of the ball :(

priest isnt gonna retire this year. When i was banging his girlfriend, she told me that him not being on the field is really getting to him... he wants to be out there helping... she said that he felt that him not being out there in the 4th Qtr of the Bucs game caused us to lose... as the Saints and the Pats game... He wants to be out there...

that's not really my point, nor what I wanted to get into. I was just wondering as chiefs faithful how receptive we'd be if the chiefs did go after ricky williams after this year's melee...

I would be in favor of sitting in the corner and crying.

Sounds good to me. If Priest leaves, this team is done, IMO. By the time we get the D fixed and replace PH w/a suitable RB, the Oline and Trent will be gone.

It's next year or never for this offense.

I wouldn't want to go after Williams.

From a football standpoint only, with his small hands, he isn't a very good receiver out of the backfield, something that this offense requires.

I'd also be concerend about his ability to refrain from smoking.
If he couldn't, he'd likely face future suspensions, further hurting the team.

I'd have to give up on the Chiefs if we acquired Williams.

Not because he's a loser and a quitter and a head case and a pot head, but because it would be evidence of such a profound incompetence that calling us the Bengals would no longer adequetly convey just how inept and pointless this franchise has become.

I won't root for a team that beyond comparison to the Bengals.

he will rack up the yards only to fumble at the 7

If we lose the leader of this team; Holmes, then this offense is done. The last three games are proof of that.

Williams isn't even an option. He wouldn't fit the 'Profile'. And even if DV did go after him I would be horified. Williams is a disaster waiting to happen. The only team I can fathom him playing for is the Raiders and they do need a RB.
