I am not sure if this actual site has ever been posted but I find alot of these to be pretty bogus. This one seemed different. It gives a lot of interesting explanation into its methodology. Its main point was that the same "right" and "left" terms you use just dont do enough to describes someone political ideaology. They think of "left" and "right" as one axis and "authoritarian" and "libertarian" as another...Here is the link to the site. http://www.politicalcompass.org/
Below is the picture I got that represented me according to the set of questions I answered. Again sorry if this has been posted before.

I think you are reading the wrong one. That one is just the example. You had to scroll down alittle further to get your results.

Unfortunately, im haveing trouble figureing out how to post the graph that is on the test. I believe the chart Zach shows is a sample chart. Because i got the exact same chart, where below it showed the actual graph of my test, which was to the right/upper center of the graph.
So all i can show is my score.

I agree. As an example, I'm pretty confident that I'm more libertarian than my "abortion should be illegal when the life of the mother is not at stake" answer gave me credit for. There's a significant difference between a guy like me, who would leave the decision to the legislatures of the states, and a guy who wants a federal constitutional amendment.

Yeah, you notice their groupings are unrealistic; the vast majority of real politicians are all authoritarian, and most are "coservative." No bias THERE....
In other words, unless you are a revolutionary, radical, communist/anarchist......you wouldn't qualify as a traditional "leftist" by this methodology.
That's a might select, and whacked group.....thank God. :shake:

When you get your result, click on the "Show graph on seperate page for printing" link. Then right click away from the graph (if you right click the graph itself you just get the cross hairs like SD did). Click on properties and the highlight and copy the web page URL. It should include your score there.
Now to see if I am right and not full of BS:

How about a link instead?1.50/-1.79 (http://www.digitalronin.f2s.com/politicalcompass/questionnaire.pl?page=printable_graph&X=1.50&Y=-1.79)

So many of these questions use the words 'always' or 'never' that it's impossible to agree with them.
And, for example, look at this one:
A significant advantage of a one-party state is that it avoids all the arguments that delay progress in a democratic political system.
Well, duh, I guess that IS an advantage of a one-party system. But if I vote strongly agree, because that is true, is the test giving you a bunch of authoritarian points? I mean, you can see one isolated advantage in something that you still think is totally misguided and in no way subscribe to.
Some of the others are like, "wtf would disagree with that statement?" and feel like they are designed to push the whole in one direction.

What would you expect from a European?
Risk takers are inherently more conservative. Why do you think that is? Bear with me for a second.
It is because risk takers want the reward for their risks. It is axiomatic that the greater risk you take, the greater proportional gain that you stand to gain. Then you get the socialists in the mix and they want to ride on the caboose of the risk takers success by taxing away the greater reward for those that SCORE!!!. Fug the ones that fail, they had it coming for taking risks in the first place.
Guess why Europeans are more to the left?
Hypothesis: Because their ancestors were the ones that wanted to play it safe and stay in Europe. Risk taking is SO, American.
