This reminds me of those "puzzles" my elementary school teachers handed out on the Wednesday of T-giving week. Y'know, when you're supposed to be at school... but you're not doing any real work.

If I had kids I suppose it might be fun to print it out for them... but, I can't imagine this is anything more than trivial for someone over the age of 10.

It's obvious that you have experienced much more than the average Joe.

This was much harder than I thought. A lot of these were pretty obscure.

1. 747’s Detroit Lions (Largest plane vs. Largest cat)

2. Stupid Sunbather - Oakland Raiders. (This one's obvious. Ray? Duh...)

3. Wise Sunbather - Miami Dolphins (Lot's of waterplay, no burns)

4. $ 1.00 for Corn Pittsburgh Steelers (That's way too much to pay for corn.)

5. Midnight Snackers - Jacksonville Jaguars (Nocturnal hunters)

6. 6 Ruler Chicago Bears - (The top of the food chain on six continents)

7. Uncle’s Spouse in the Army Buffalo Bills (Don't ask, don't tell.)

8. Peter and Paul New England Patriots (Paul Revere and Peter Minuit, who first bought New York for the U.S.)

9. The Clash San Francisco 49ers (The Gold Rush resulted from a clash between America and Mexico.)

10. Half Bovine, Half Man San Diego Chargers (An obvious reference to bullfights)

11. Marine Birds Arizona Cardinals (Might be a mistake in the quiz here, since I think Pat Tillman was in the army.)

12. Loaders Minnesota Vikings (in preparation for those long sea voyages)

13. Seven Squared - Dallas Cowboys (7 squared = 49. 4+9=13. 13=number of letters in "Dallas Cowboys")

14. Indian Leader Cleveland Browns (Somewhat racist - Gandhi might object to the term.)

15. Credit Card Users - Houston Texans (Texans have among the highest consumer debt of any state.)

16. Henry’s First Compact Cincinnati Bengals - (Guys who have been gals often retain their makeup cases.)

17. A Girl’s Toy and a "Fishes" Arm Tampa Bay Buccaneers (These are the two most common things to wash up on Tampa beaches.)

18. Ewes’ Mate New Orleans Saints (My's mate is a saint. I love her very much.)

19. Mel Gibson - New York Jets (He owns several of them.)

20. Fundamental Laws Atlanta Falcons (Georgia is known for having very conservative laws sponsored by fundamentalists.)

21. IOU - Kansas City Chiefs (What Carl sends me every year at Super Bowl time.)

22. Six Shooters New York Giants (Average number of attackers per murder in the city)

23. Thieves - Denver Broncos (Obvious reference to salary-cap tainted "championships"

24. Teddy St. Louis Rams (Women wear teddies in hopes of getting rammed.)

25. King of the Beasts - Baltimore Ravens (Ravens are the end of the food chain if you exclude insects, and therefore the top.)

26. Orange and Black Cat Carolina Panthers (A reference to panthers who roll in the clay-rich soil of the Carolinas.)

27. National Bird Seattle Seahawks (National Bird of Tuvalu.)

28. Equine Goes Wild - Indianapolis Colts (What happens nine months after a mare shows her breasts on spring break?)

29. Crooked Wire - Green Bay Packers (A veiled reference to how unions pay off police informants.)

30. Big Black Cat - Tennessee Titans (This is a reference to Albert Haynesworth)

31. Edgar A. Poe’s Favorite Bird Philadelphia Eagles (I'll bet no one knew this.)

32. NASA’s Headquarters - Washington Redskins (Federal program. Duh.)

Actually, I believe the "average Joe" has, in fact, experienced the second grade.
