Just joking phil but come on don't you think boise should get something for being undefeated. Like the chance to play in the bcs national championship game.

Under the current system? No I don't. It doesn't mean I don't think the current system is majorly flawed.

I definitely have not experienced that. I find the fans are sort of evenly split between UCLA and USC. You would expect the UCLA fans not to love USC.

If the freaking NCAA would create a playoff system like the NAIA, we'd know by the first week in January who should be # 1.

16 teams, four weeks, screw the poles.

Auburn is undefeated in the toughest conference in the country.

Auburn Auburn Auburn.

Auburn has defeated Georgia, LSU, Tennessee twice.

Neither Oklahoma or USC has had as difficult schedule as Auburn.

I agree, but the BCS changed their scoring system this year to EXCLUDE strength of schedule. The only reason USC and OK are ranked higher is based on PRESEASON rankings(which is fuking idiotic).

The solution is simple here. Keep the BCS and the BCS bowls AND add 3 more bowls to an 8 team playoff system. Or they could just add one bowl which would probably be alright as well.

As long as Auburn beats VT(and they will), they will end up sharing the title with whoever wins the Orange bowl...which i would guess will be kinda like kissing your sister.

Missouri looked like they were turning things around in their last game of the year. If the season had been 80 games longer I have no doubt that they would have made it to the top. I voted other. :p

Yeah just their impressive performace against UCLA yesterday should give you every indication of that.

I wouldnt be too suprised to see USC lose by more than 14.

I don't too much stock in to the score of rivalry games.

Too fuking bad under the current system we'll never know. We'll all just have to settle for another gay ass split championship. Fukin brilliant.

Auburn will probably lose to the Hokies and it will be a moot point.

Wanna bet on it?

Saulbadguy

Nope. Betting on Bowl games is like betting on rivalry games. Throw all the records and stats out the window. Each team has to prepare itself for an offense and/or defense it hasn't seen all year, and possibly for quite some time. Bowl games are ALWAYS tough to predict.

Anywhoo..the Hokies are pretty underrated IMO. They played USC close the whole game, and lost a bad one to NC State by 1 point, probably a game they should have won.

All i'm predicting is a "close game".
