No, they are being sarcastic.
Yup, it is stupid to listen to a bunch of idiots who know when they are taxed in a higher bracket they can simply negotiate the dollar amount up to favor themselves. Unfortunately, the average worker they supposedly defend doesn't have the same option.
BTW - Do you have homework?

Sure.
They are free to say whatever the hell they want. It is up to you whether or nor you decide to pay for it and line their pockets.
And, since it would appear that Eminem has delusions of grandeur, perhaps it would be advisable that you might not pay a whole lot of attention to his/her lyrics.

I happen to enjoy Eminems music. I, along with many other liberals, do not develop their opinions based on what celebrities think.
This is a common misconception conservatives make about liberals. They think we get all our political beliefs from celebs. Its along the same lines that alot of liberals think conservative gets all theirs from the bible. Its generalizing, in any case.

I have a 2 CD set of songs from the Vietnam era, and on the second CD are several of the protest songs. Funny thing is, I like most of the ones that are on there. I'll sing along with them all the while thinking, "Yeah, what a bunch of bullsh!t", but I enjoy them just the same. It's very odd, but I can't help that the good music happens to be anti-war.

Ah. The default answer. About time!
The fact is that the Democrats screwed themselves by nominating a liberal senator from the NE. The Whitehouse was within their grasp, and the Democrats f*cked it up by nominating a man who couldn't win the entire country.
And the people who voted for Bush are stupid?

Nah.
The final straw was when the bobby fell down the apples and pears. The problem arose when his rubber ran low and he raced over to the lift to have a quick fag. After arriving on the lower floor, he saw a skirt that had nice legs, but shame about the boat race, and was naturally distracted. He figured he'd be cash and carried, and being so cream crackered, he gave up.
