While I don't think his play has "slipped" i would think that losing Siavii the last month or more has had him getting more snaps than usual maybe tiring him out more.

The run D has been pretty consistent since Dalton stepped in.

yeah I agree. They still need some LB's that can get in there.

Personally I think the run Defense is smoke and mirrors. I think if teams didn't find it so easy to attack our secondary, the rushing defense would show it is just as leaky.

17th against the run is good when one considers how horrible we were the first 2 or 3 games this season and last year's rushing defense ranking.

:hmmm: Sounds pretty logical.

Dalton was the best defensive signing the Chiefs made last year IMO.

Could be but we've held some pretty good RBs to under a 100 yards which is hard to do for even good Ds. The last 10 games we've held the other teams to 92.8 YPG. Jamal Lewis, LT, Corey Dillon, Fred Taylor and a couple more decent RBs. Could be a mirage I guess

But was total Defense ranking... Most teams pass on us because it is easier then running and they score points quicker...

I really don't think the Jags, Ravens of Chargers used that srtategy but I'd have to go back to the play-by-paly so be sure. No doubt that some teams have exploited our pass D from the get go but not all of them.

Rep for your stat work.

Thank You!
