While cruising USA Today and I make it to their 'Hot Sites' section in the tech news.

As you may or may not know, clowns make me uncomfortable. I'm not deathly scared of them, they don't make me burst into a panic attack or run screaming. Their exagerated facial features that don't change when they talk or eat or yell just freak me out a little.

Anyway, cruising USA Today I come across the 'Hot Sites' and one of the sites listed is ihateclowns dot net.

It takes some rooting around but there are some really funny stories as to why people are scared of clowns. For example:

"ok like a year ago me n my friends were walking at this fundraiser and there was this clown there "entertaining" people. anyway we happened to be over there and we thought it would be funny to talk to the ugly s*** so, we did. he looked aggervated and we went over and were like "hey, can we have a balloon?" and he goes "IM ALMOST DONE!!" or something like that bc iguess he wanted to go home and was tired and pissed, hell, id be too if i shitted my life away becoming a professinal clown. but ANYWAY he like threw a balloon together and shoved it at me bc he wanted us to leave him alone and what do you think it was?!?! well, ill tell you. that b**** madew me a genuine BLACK PENIS. i SWEAR to you there was like absolutly NOTHING else that it coulda been...everything was so...obvious!! ew it was DISGUSTING! clowns are some sick mofos..."

I no longer feel bad about my minor phobia after reading a couple of these. Definatly worth a look in a train wreck kinda way.

I absolutely hate clowns. Have no idea why.

I once dated a girl who used to dress up as a clown. She was also a medic, so she'd dress up and go visit the sick kids. It was really sweet of her to do it... but the day that she dressed up and came to my office to see me "in character" (I worked in the same hospital) was pretty unnerving.

Nah, she was a silent clown. It would have never worked.
