Tony now has 74 receptions for 946 yards for the season. That's already his 3rd best reception total and 2nd best yardage total for his career. He needs 20 receptions and 258 yards over the last three games to set career highs. He also moved up the charts on the "receptions by a tight end" and Chiefs all-time recieving lists. He now needs 714 yards to become the Chiefs all-time leading reciever.

Most receptions by a Tight End, career:

Shannon Sharpe 815
Ozzie Newsome 662
Tony Gonzalez 542
Kellen Winslow 541

Underappreciated.

Underrated.

Taken for granted.

We will miss Tony when he's gone.

Good thing he's only 28! PBJ
