For me the dude looks like Jamal Lewis, a big back whit wheels.

There is no way I trade him.

eddie george minus ten years

Too early for me to make an prediction, but I would say that he does look like Eddie George, only faster.

Yeah, I'd say Eddie George in his prime, maybe Emmitt Smith a little bit, though not as stocky.

BigRedChief

yep, a Eddie George clone.

Calculating LJ's averages over the past 2 games (where he was 2nd in the depth chart, and actually played some real minutes), here is what LJ would have had accomplished had he started every game:

1776 Yards
24 TD

He's not as big as Eddie George or Jamal Lewis is he?

I said Current!

But he does remind me of Ricky in a lot of ways.

Jamal can't catch and comes out of the game on 3rd and longs.

Well that remindes me of our secondary not LJ :banghead:

LJ reminds me of OJ Simpson. Same height, same build and a very long stride. Looks like he is running in slow motion but faster than everyone else on the field.

Actually LJ reminds me of none mentioned. Who he reminds me of is Chris Brown of the Titans, they could be clones.

I can't think of a back that matches up to him. He's got it all, speed, power, and hands. Not bad for a wasted draft pick.

He reminds me a lot of Quentin Griffen. Griffen reminds me a lot of Barry Sanders. Barry Sanders had an interview last week on Inside The NFL. That interview included an appearance by Jim Brown.
Jim Brown once played in a movie with Raquel Welch.
Raquel Welch directed an off Broadway play that had a cameo appearance by Kevin Bacon.

So, in the final analysis, LJ reminds me of Kevin Bacon.

That and Raquel Welch doesn't move her arms when she tap dances. LJ doesn't move the ball to his inside arm when he runs. There are similarities there.

He's not a current player, but, in the limited touches he's had so far, LJ really reminds me of the old Seahawk running back, Curt Warner.

Former Penn State Nittany Lion Curt Warner.

I can see that.

seriously though I am off the lj hating bandwagon, he's proved a lot of people wrong. He also has bought into vermiel, which helps with the team chemistry. He has turned a complete 180. I also think watching priest prepare has helped him a lot.

I agree. And I always thought warren was underrated. LJ looks a little like Mike Anderson the year he led the donx in rushing.

I don't think he looks anything even remotely like Jamal Lewis, and am wondering where that is even coming from. He looks like a talented back, but NOTHING like Jamal Lewis.

That was my thinking...Lewis takes short choppy steps, cuts and then BOOM. LJ is a little smoother and doesn't have as good a top end speed.

I'm thinking more like Deuce Staley when Deuce was about 10lbs lighter. Decent speed, some power, good size and decent moves.

He reminds me a lot of 3 backs...
(1) Eddie George
(2) Chris Brown
(3) Corey Dillon

LJ has that slide step that he does. He has a style that's all his own, but he's the straight up runner that all 3 backs are above.
