Manning, Brees and Brady though it would be hard to keep Big Ben out. I could make a strong argument for Trent as well but the other 4 are on teams with winning records and they each won their divisions.

Manning, Brees and probably Rothlisberger because of all the press and attention he has gotten this year. Green and Brady will get snubbed. Not beacuse they arnt good enough, but becasue the AFC has an overabundance of good QB's this year.

Manning and Brees for sure. I had a tough time with the third one so went with the homer pick over Brady and Roethlisberger. Realistically I'd probably have to pick Roethlisberger for the 3rd spot. I really admire what he's done this season.

I don't realistically see how Pummer is going to get MVP without also winning a slot in the Probowl.

Interesting, not one mention of how bad Plummer was or the Denver/Chiefs game yesterday in Peter Kings MMQ article today.

I hope he eventually admits how wrong he was about Plummer.

The Chiefs suck too much and it will cost Green a Pro Bowl berth.

MAnning, Brees, Rothlisburger. The three most fun to watch who's teams are going to the playoffs. Brady didn't go last year either. I love our guy TRent, but in the company he's keeping in the AFC, there are at least 3 other guys who have outperformed him...plus there's the whole no playoffs thing...

The only way Trent doesn't make it is because of our record. I would put Trent second only behind Manning in performance this year. Brees rating is better, but Trent has thrown for 1000 more yards than Brees. Trent beats both Brady and Rothlisberger in rating and yards. The win column is the only area that Trent fall short, and I hardly would call that his fault, considering the defense.

Factoring in the (honorable) chiefsplanet homerism factor, I think that if we're rating him in the third spot with 50 percent more votes than Brady, we won't get in. The rest of the country will substitute Brady for Green in about half of our votes just because of the teams' record and Brady's high media profile. It'd be a shame, but I bet Trent and Roethlisberger are the odd men out.

Wouldn't you think Trent's numbers would suffer somewhat if we had a better defense? Essentially you're saying he should get in over Brady because his numbers are much better, but he doesn't have the wins. Brady doesn't have to put up those lofty numbers because he has a good defense. Bottom line, he's led his team to a 14-1 record....he gets in on merit.

Last year we were all yelling that Trent should get in because our team was 13-3....we can't expect a 6-8 team to get much Pro Bowl love now that we're on the other side of the coin.

I have come to the conclusion lately that Trent Green is the modern day Dan Fouts and our team is the modern day version of the late 70's early 1980s San Diego Chargers. All offense and no defense.

Gotta go with the top three rated guys...
Peyton = God this year...
Brees = Carrying his team to an impressive division championship...
Rothesasgonamisspellit = Rookie probowlers are good for the media...

If you want to go with the three guys who have played the best then its

Manning
Brees
Brady

The best stats:

Manning
Green
Brees

The ones with the winning teams:

Manning
Brady
Rothlesberger

Big Ben has had a good year for a rookie, but if any of you have seen him actually play, he isn't in the league of the other four guys that have been mentioned---yet.

The Steelers run the ball and play defense. If Ben has to throw it 20 times a game it is a rarity. He'll be a good one, but four other QB's have fdone it better this year.

You could argue he's had a better year than Green given Green's ill-timed INT's have cost some games, but I don't think he's the better QB yet.

Manning
Brees
(toss up between) Brady and Green

Roethlesburger has had a nice season but no nicer than Steve Bono's in 95-96, and he was an alternate who ended up going (4th selection). This is what will happen with Ben.

My guess is that Brady will be selected over Green considering their record and the high pub New England gets.

Also, last night I was at the local drinking establishment watching the MNF game. During Monday Night Countdown, Stewart Scott asked all which AFC QB's would make the Pro Bowl. Well, the sound was muted and I only caught the tail end of the close captioned broadcast but I swear someone said that Jake Plummer would make the Pro Bowl despite his horrid perfomances in the past 4+ games.

Any confirmation on that??

Yes, I saw the same thing. I was waiting for them all to laugh, and they didn't. What a crock. The mentioned Manning, Brees and Brady, Michael Irvin said Rothlesberger, then I can't remember who said Jake Plummer, in spite of all his picks...

...what a bunch of freakin tools...the never even mentioned Green who has OBVIOUSLY had a much better season than PlummINT...

That's hilarious. I was telling my buddy that I thought that's what I read and he said I was smoking crack. I must have read it wrong.

It must have been Jaworski who mentioned Plummer. Seriously, how on earth can this guy even be mentioned in the top 3 QB's in the AFC?
