He's a blocking tight end like Jason Dunn but he's only a blocking TE, the's like 6'3" 285 lbs.

I'd keep Fujita, Tynes (but maybe bring in some competition), Gammons and (before yesterday) Harts for depth.

Oh yeah, and of course Todd Collins.

The only one that I would be pissed about letting go would be Gammon. That guy is money and the shouldn't fug with taking a chance on somebody else.

There's a smartass in every crowd. No wonder why I rarely post on the boards, even though I've been around since the original KC Star days. The reason I said it would be a good idea to keep Collins around for another year (1 year) is to have him back up Green. He's been around this offense long enough, he can step in and not lose much of a step if necessary. Then, draft a rookie in the middle rounds to become the hopeful successor to Green in a few years.

Harts is young and makes a decent BACKUP at FS. He'll likely sign to league minimum anyway.

Fujita makes a solid OLB, unless we can pick up a playmaker at the position to replace him with.

Kendall Gammon is the best of the best at long snapping. I'de resign this guy every year until he decides he doesn't want to play in the NFL anymore.

Easy is the only FB we have on the roster behind an aging Richardson. Even though Tony is in the prime of his career, we need somebody to replace him with one day. If somebody else becomes available that can block AND CATCH the ball, then go for it....

Montique Sharpe DT ERFA

Lawrence Tynes PK ERFA - should resign, but another kicker would be fine

Ronnie Cruz RB ERFA

Omar Easy FB ERFA - good on special teams, but another FB could be good

Scott Connot S ERFA

Shaunard Harts S ERFA - could be a starter and take Jerome Wood's spot

Aaron Golliday TE ERFA

onathan Ingram C ERFA

Scott Fujita LB RFA - need to resign

Quinton Caver LB RFA - good on special teams, backup LB, doesn't matter if he resigned

Todd Collins QB UFA - probably will be resigned

Damon Huard QB UFA - no one cares

Derrick Blaylock RB UFA - would like to resign, but probably won't be able to

Kendall Gammon TE UFA - probably will resign, a deep snapper is more valueable than people think, Gammon is the best in the NFL
