Sure this is a Chiefs website, but who do you think is a better overall team and why? Remenber Chiefs are winning 3 games ahead between the Raiders and chiefs.

Dont just say the defense is better or offense is better, if you have time go into detail.

-by the way im a Raiders fan.

Um...back - to - back season sweeps would suggest beyond any doubt that the CHIEFS are better. I'd imagine that even Raida Fan would be hard pressed to disagree... :hmmm:

Besides the Sweep Sweep, I would just add that our Offense and special teams beats the Faids. Both defenses suck.

Don't just say that, man. Go into detail!! Talk about the offense and defense of lines. If you have time, that is...

The Chiefs are the better team. They won both games this year and are two games better in the standings. That's the end of the argument. That said...

On Offense

- Kansas City has - and has had for 4 or 5 years now - arguably the best offensive line in the league. While the Raiders do have developing talent, it remains that Kansas City's talent is already developed and guys like Roaf, Waters, and Shields have established themselves as some of the best in the game (or, in Shields' case, among the best of all time). The expression "it all starts up front" didn't become cliche for no reason.

- Running game. This ties in directly with the offensive line... but the fact is that whether it is Priest, Blaylock, or Johnson, the Chiefs have been getting it done on the ground. Oakland, meanwhile, is the worst rushing team in the NFL.

- Tight End. While Raider fans get excited when Courtney Anderson or Teyo Johnson show "flashes" the fact remains that the Chiefs have the best TE in the NFL. Put it this way: On Saturday, Teyo Johnson had 3 receptions for 52 yards and Raider fans thought it was great. If Gonzalez had put up those exact same numbers, Chiefs fans would have been disappointed. That's how big the freakin' gap is.

- Established system. Although it'll piss some Chief fans off to hear it, I look at Trent Green the same way I looked at Rich Gannon: Right quarterback for the system. Neither are great talents... but both are talented enough, smart enough, and experienced enough to use what they have to great effect. Green and his receivers (who are nothing to write home about) know where they need to be, when they need to be there, and have a great rapport going with each other. On the other side, it seems like every single week Kerry Collins is saying, "Well, I'm feeling more comfortable now..." which means, basically, that he's learning on the fly. That's to be expected, of course, as he's in his first year in this system... but the fact remains that Green's mastery of KC's system gives them an advantage.

On Defense

I'm not going to get in depth here. I'm just going to call it a push, since both units really suck.

Naturally, this can all change over the course of the off-season, depending on draft picks, free agent signings, player development, and who the hell knows what else... but that's how I see it for the time being.

I disagree, since neither team did jack this year and the Raiders are drafting higher --> Advantage Raiders.

What good do 1980's vintage Lombardi's do for Raider fans, when they're getting swept by the worst Defensive KC team since 1989?

Did those dusty Lombardi-JimPlunkett bobbleheads work as a salve to sooth the burn on your arse as Tynes kicked that winning FG to clench the SWEEP?

I thought the Forest Gump wave by GHB was great..........especially 1 minute later when KC retook the lead.

Raiders suck.

I understand that in Jokeland's last oportunity to get one, Tampa Bay beat them like a YMCA Club team.

Maybe Kerry Collins and Plummer can go out Boozin with GHB this offseason and figure out where it all went wrong...............Warfield can drive.

And I understand that in Kansas City's last opportunity to get one, you weren't even born yet.

And Kerry Collins says that he's down for whatever but if Warfield is driving, he's got to save room in the back for Charles Woodson and Marques Anderson. Cool?

Real simple folks.
Offense: Chiefs are miles ahead of the faiders in every way on offense. The faiders have a joke of a QB, no running game whatsoever, and one reciever who will not even re-sign there in the off season, so make that no recievers. The Chiefs have a Pro-Bowl QB, RB, FB, TE, G, T, and PR. The faiders have..... well..... a pro bowl punter.... the end.

Defense: Two horrible defenses. Faiders currently have more defensive talent, but the pathetic play of the offense kills what little help their defense gives out. Chiefs defense horrible, but is good enough to not kill "EVERY" little thing thier offense does.

Head to Head: 4 straight, and 5 of the last six.

Game set match! Thanks for coming!

Actually, Jerry Porter has stated that it would be his preference to remain in Oakland. Also, Ronald Curry is better than any receiver on your roster and Doug Gabriel has shown more promise than the youngster y'all are banking on, Sammie Parker.

The NY Post reported that as a rumor. Meanwhile, Jerry Porter was directly quoted in more than one Bay Area paper as saying that his preference would be to stay in Oakland.

Straighten those guys out? Nah... if they want to read unattributed rumors from out of town papers over direct quotes from the person the rumors pertain to, that's their business...

EDIT: Additionally, Jerry Porter hated Gruden's guts. He made absolutely no bones about it while Gruden was still the Raiders' coach and he made no bones about it after Gruden left.

If the New York Post told you that Mike Shanahan was contemplating a return to the Raiders, would you believe that, too?

So far all they have proven is they can get destroyed in the playoffs in one of the worst defensive showings of all time.
