I really wasn't a big fan of his, but he was really pretty impressive in Celebrity Jeopardy.

Damn. I really liked him. I just saw his "farewell episode" of Law & Order last week on re-runs. I liked his charactor on that show a lot. In fact, I think the show has really gone down hill with Dennis Farina since Jerry left. I always felt he was an under-rated actor.

He also did the voice of Lumiere the candle-stick on Disney's "Beauty and the Beast." He was quite a talent.

I'll miss him.

I was a fan. He did the voice of Luminaire (sp) in Beauty and the Beast. He was a Broadway song and dance man as well. A real hoofer and seller. He was in my opinion an excellent actor.

I'm having a hard time envisioning him doing Broadway musicals, as stated in the article.

That was his main thing until Law & Order came along. That's what I mean by him being a great actor. He could do it all convinceingly.

He didn't necessaruly have the singing voice to do love songs, but he could sell a song with his acting abilities. Same with his dancing. Not a trained ballet dancer, but could pull off a routine because of his acting/selling skills. The perfect example of not judging a book by the cover.

He was pretty good as the gangster brother in Woody Allen's Crimes and Misdemeanors and had the lead role in one of De Niro's first movies - The Gang That Couldn't Shoot Straight.

RIP, Jerry.

Good as well as the gangster in FX,and I loved him as Lenny on Law and Order always delivering his sarcastic lines to perfection.

RIP Jerry

My mom's still not over Chris Noth just being written out of the show. Between this and the collapse of Frazod, errrr, Detective Goren over on Criminal Intent, she's gonna be beside herself.

I just told my wife and she is really bummed. She saw him in "Chicago" He played the part of the lawyer I believe. He was really quite an actor on Broadway.

We always liked detective Lenny Brisco.

RIP Jerry.
