Gives me more time to work on my golf game. This year it improved about as much as the Chiefs defense. And ranks about as good as the Chiefs defense.

Most importantly, there are 2 months until march.

Let it all go by...

Looking at the sky...

Wondering if there's clouds and stuff...

In hell.

2 and a half months till I can take the winter pool cover off the pool. Won't be warm enough for two-leggeds until mid-April, but my dogs will have full reign for at least a month.

I'm not at all depressed that the season is over. I was ready for it once we blew the New Orleans game. I knew then that the team was done as did most. So, I was just playing out the string with my emotions so now it's no big deal.

In some ways the off season can be entertaining too. I'll be bored until March free agency, then again until the April draft. May and June are dark days in the life of an NFL fan.

It is. Opening Sunday will probably be September 11th. That's less than 9 months.

Don't mean to get philosophical, but what kind of life is this where we complete one thing and then another good portion of our life is spent in anticipation of the other? Isn't life too short to be doing this sort of thing? Shouldn't we as humans in order to live better more eventful lives focus on the present and not the future?

Food for thought... :hmmm:

Were going to need every second of that time to make the improvements necessary to be competitive next year.

The Chiefs season may be over but there's still 12(check that 11 I won't count the pro bowl) games left in the NFL and like every other Chiefs season that comes to an end I will find a way to make the most of and look forward to what's left.......

NOW let's get looking forward to seeing the Donks get their asses handed to them by the Colts.
