I imagine most of us have ignored the instructions and re-used either those disposable razors or those refillable razor cartridges, so how often do you do it?

Those damn things are expensive.. I use them as long as I possibly can!

Then switch it out so my wife can gouge her legs with the old one!

I'm a wussy and use electric, when I remember to care to shave. Today it was too cold shave.

I use them at least 6 months. I went from goatee to full beard right before deer season, so now that I only clean up the bottom of my neck I should be able to get one to last a year easy.

I've found that shaving in the shower lengthens the life of a razor and makes shaving go so much smoother for me.

I'm between these two:

"I do it untill it starts getting uncomfortable"

and

"If it doesnt draw blood in three consecutive uses, then it is still good."

I don't quite draw blood, but I use the same blade for many weeks... I've upgraded to the electric version of the Mach 3. That small vibration seems to make a blade useable even longer.

I have a predeliction for folliculitis, and am therefore quite anal about my shaving regimen and razor care. Shave in the shower only, steaming hot water, lots of soaking, lots of nutrogena foam, lots of nutrogena post-shave lotion. And an absolutely sanitized razor left behind afterwards.
I find that the Mach 3 is capable of 3 weeks of work-daily use before it starts wreaking havoc on my tender face.

I don't shave. When I get tired of the beard I use the shortest setting on the trimmer to go back to a goatee. It leaves about 1 day growth which is short enough. I hate having a smooth face.

Now that you mention it, it has been about a week or two since I have shaved.

Time to trim the few whiskers off the chin and mustache area.

I like goatees, but anyhoo, I have these blue strips on my razor and when they turn white, its time to change them, they are expensive as hell, but they are triple blades, and last for quiet some time. :thumb:

3 is usually the magic number... then it starts pulling as much as it does cutting. :(

Shush. Men are talking.
I'm sure your chin whiskers will come in before the Hillary Administration.

You're supposed to replace them?

No wonder my face looks like Freddie Kruger's.

I was just coming onto this poll to find out if the author had your permission to post it.

Oh, BTW. I've decided that washing my legs is too difficult, so I'm just going to shave them once a month now. It seems to get most of the dirt off, but my legs feel really weird in dress pants though.

I haven't shaved in awhile, but when I do I usually use one Mach 3 for about 3 weeks or so.

Kind of like Cliff Clavin from that Cheers episode?

I think you can, but don't tell Slayer I said so. This facial hair challenge is gonna be worse than the orange bowl.

Your telling me this poll was already done before? Damn, you freaks on Chiefs Planet have talked about everything then. Kinda like that South Park episode where they discovered that the Simpson's already did everything there is to show on TV.

Not necessarily - I'm saying that Donger normally conducts our personal hygene polls. Heh.

I think we have talked about razors, though. I know we talk about electric razors 2 or 3x per year.

Beh.

Now I'm not going to post my lastest one. Probably a wise decision, actually.

I used an electric for about a year before I found Mach 3's.

I can't stand electric.
