Was arguing with a seahawks fan at work today and I brought up the subject if the seahawks were still in the AFC west, where would they have ended up in the division? I said 4th or even 5th. He got a little pissed. What do you guys think? :hmmm:

I dunno. They were as Jeckyl and Hyde as the Chiefs this year. They could have easily been 4th or they could have easily been 2nd. It's hard to say.

All I can say is that the Seahawks, Vikings and Rams are thanking the football gods they play in the NFC this season.

The three of those teams would have struggled to reach 7 wins in the AFC. I don't know where Seattle would fall in the AFCW, but it would have likely been below SD, Den and KC.

I'd bet they would have finished 3rd behind the Bolts and the Cheating Donx... :hmmm:

And for what it's worth, I thought divisions were more meaningful when there were 5 teams in them. They should make them useful again by adding one more division game per division opponent each season.

Maybe 2nd or more likely 3rd
