Indianapolis Colts coach Tony Dungy said he saw Moss' action and, "I thought it was kind of humorous."

"It's not the kind of thing you want to see on national TV, but I understand what it was all about," he said.
"Anyone who has played in the NFC Central knows what that's about.

The fans in Green Bay have a tradition in the parking lot after the game where they moon the visiting team's bus," he said. "It's kind of a unique send-off."

"I had seen it seven times because when I was with the Vikings, we lost to them seven times up there," he said.

that does throw a different light on it, doesn't it?

still, he probably shouldn't have done it on national tv (although i thought it was funny, made funnier by the fox broadcasters who made such a big deal of it)...

Yeah, I never understood the hysteria either. He pretended to moon them. Big deal. You would've thought he went bare assed the way people are yammering.

I'm more concerned about 1/3 of the Chiefs squad pretending to play defense for 3 years now.

I TTA. When I heard the commentators apologizing and getting all worked up I thought he had really mooned the crowd.

When I found out he only pretended to moon them I was like WTF???

There was a fan banner at the Metrodome during a Vikings game a few years ago that said something like

If you liked our Moon, wait until you see our Johnson

referring to QBs Warren and Brad, of course.

Last night I heard Tom Jackson say:

"I wash my hands of Randy Moss. It's up to the MInn coaches to handle him."

First off I didn't know TJ was acting in the capacity of Moss' godfather.

2) Where was all this sactimonious commentator bullshit when Moss had the meter maid on the hood of his car and drove down a Minneapolos street for two blocks?
Where was the outrage when he was charged with domestic assault?

I thought what he did yesterday was just ... well... stupid. Not outrageous, just stupid.

Now I know whay he did it, and while still stupid, it makes more sense.

i remember one day joe buck was going off on Man Ram because he took a water bottle and put it in his pocket in left field. He was like, WHAT IS THAT? Thats not how you play baseball, and i was thinking, what is he drinking a beer out there? It is 100 degrees big deal.

We have Grand theft auto commercials where carl is carrying a bazooka in LA. Enough levitra and viagra commercials where if the commercial was fifteen seconds longer the old fuggers would start going at it doggy style. Close shots of cheerleaders and hot girls in the crowd, and OH NO THIS MAN FAKE MOONS THE FANS THE TERRORISTS WIN

I wanna watch a game where TO and Moss are just trying to one-up each other for three hours.

I can imagine the sideline argument...

"Gimme the damn ball! I gotta drop trou and do a cartwheel before Randy beats me to it!"

I could see one of them dropping a Cleveland Steamer on an opposing team's cheerleader after a TD. I do believe Joe Bucks head would literally explode if that happened (so basically I'm saying I want it to happen)

Ah, found it...

Do the Packers have cheerleaders?
The Packers haven't had official cheerleaders since 1988, however cheerleaders from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and St. Norbert College appear at home games throughout the season. The Packers discontinued their squad of official cheerleaders in large part due to fan indifference. There are no plans to return to official cheerleaders.

Awesome. "fan indifference"

I'm sick of Joe Buck, Bradshaw, James Brown, Howie Long and Collinsworth acting like they are choir boys and ripping on Moss every chance.

When he scores a TD in Minn he generally gives the ball to a disabled kid in the front row.

But they never talk about that.

Moss is lazy sometimes, but that doesn't make him an awful person.

Joe Buck made more of a goof out of himself than Moss did.

I thought it was funny how Aikman and Collinsworth were ignoring Buck and talking about the TD.

Since I watched most of the games this weekend, Buck's getting prudish about something minor instead of talking about the crucial play in the game immediately made me think that he was insulting fans of the NFL that would spend time watching football games to see who would win and advance.

I could not imagine what it would have been like to be a Packer fan watching the game at home and having a knife stuck in your team's hopes and then having to hear the announcer going crybaby and transitioning into an America's Most Wanted episode instead of talking aobut the game.

Sheesh.

I thought it was, too, because no one would show it.... all the postgame shows talked about it, but cut off before he did it.

It would be great if the media outlets said they weren't going to show stuff like that because it's not worth talking about over and over and over.....

.....but, I've seen it like 30 times in the last day and a half, including the front page of the KC Star Sports, so I guess it was short lived :banghead:
