Man, there are 10 threads I haven't posted on tonight on the front page. You're wrong.

I post about once a month in the DC forum too. I post on one thread in the games forum.

Bottom line, I post on threads I find interesting. I'm interested in alot. Deal with it, Fall Down Elvis.

Lima beans are tasty.

As for the chicken... at your local grocery store you may notice that they sell chicken breasts pre-marinated in stuff. I'm sure they're grossly overpriced (I never really stopped to compare the price to non-marinated breasts), but being the lazy fook I am, I buy them anyway. They're tasty, and quick to prepare on the Foreman.

This one was in a "Roasted Garlic" marinade.

Saulbadguy
01-13-2005, 08:51 PM
I buy boneless skinless chicken breasts in bulk at Sams club, and then seal most of it up in a foodsaver bag so I can keep it a long time. I usually just season em with some hot shit, and throw em on.

If you are going to eat poorly, the best time is in the morning. I try to get most of my carbohydrates in in the morning. I eat a bout 3/4 cup egg beaters, couple slices of toast, an orange, and maybe some cheese. I really like peas, especially the frozen ones. They are dark green and I like them better than canned. I love lima beans, either by themselves or as succotash. I buy a small pack of frozen baby limas and a small pack of frozen corn. Heat a small pan of water to boiling then pour in the desired amount of limas, reduce heat, wait 5 minutes then add the corn. Done in 4-5 more minutes. It's great!!

Chicken. Black eyed peas.

.

I got one of the new Foreman grills for my birthday last month. I am not all that happy with it though. When cooking steak especially.

I need that thing to get HOT so it will put those grill marks on my steak the way yours appears to. But mine is one of the new ones that has the pull off cooking surfaces and it just won't get hot enough. In order to get those grill marks I have to leave the meat on so long that it cooks all the way through the meat.

I only use the damn thing for chicken and chops now.

I had a chili dog :deevee: and chips at my sons basketball game. On the way home we munched on candy and popcorn. The inventor of flavored tums rocks,,:thumb:

I'm glad I saw you post this. I plan to buy a new foreman grill sometime in the relatively near future, and if I had seen one with removable cooking surfaces, I would've bought it for the ease of cleaning issue. Now I know better.

FWIW, there's actually garlic on that chicken. It's from the same package of pre-marinated stuff I mentioned earlier in the thread.

The oldest daughter wanted to cook tonight so I am eating Cheesy Hashbrowns with a couple pieces of toast. Nothing to really brag about, but it's filling, and I didn't have to fix it.
