in the morning on a little getaway and none too soon.

My bro and sis-in-law gave us use of their timeshare for a Christmas gift and we're heading to Virginia Beach. The weather report doesn't look great(seeing that it was just in the 70's there)but it's still time away.

Thankfully, some other relatives will be taking care of our house, our animals and our business so I can forget all and just RELAX.

If anyone's been to Virginia Beach and has some suggestions it would be appreciated.

I've been to Virginia Beach. Do not drink a bunch of grain alcohol and urinate on main street.

That's about all I remember.... Heh.

Did you avail yourself of the city's accomodations?

Where is Virginia Beach at? North Carolina? Delaware? And is it a mountain town, a coastal town, or something else? I can help if I get some more details.

Actually, no. It was in broad daylight. Had it been at night, I probably would have.

I went to school not far from there. Be sure to do the Chesapeake bridge, and don't eat at the Upper Room seafood buffet if it's still there. Friggin nasty.

Ah, I forgot. It's kinda cool to drive to downtown Norfolk, (pronounce it nor**** or you'll hear it), and check out the big ships up against big buildings, pretty neat too. There was a battleship always there, which is super neat if you don't see that often.

Crazy Joe's seafood, if it's still there down near the beach was the best reasonably priced seafood when i lived in Norfolk 10 years ago. The weather shouldn't be that warm there, at least it never was when I lived there at this time of year.
