Is it a movie? I thought it was a series sorta like Playmakers.

I'll probably check it out. Loved Playmakers, and I enjoyed Junction Boys. "3" I thought was pretty lame.

Man that is some horrible acting. I actually like Madsen but that show just looks like crap. "The Matador" "because of his ability to lure the young bulls into the ring" gay!

Have I seen the commercial? It's only on ESPN eleventy billion times an hour. Like everyone else ESPN does, they overkill it in commercials and re-airings.

That's the same douchebag they have doing color commentary for the WSOP.

As to the question of the thread.. yeah, I plan to check it out. But, I'll be pretty quick with the axe on the ole season pass if the first ep or two sucks.

ESPN movies remind me of all those dumb after school specials back in the day.

I watch the promo, it looks like a great series.. this is made by the guys who made 'rounders'... espn just paid for it, the series is about the dark side of poker...

Bah, I'd have prefered another season of playmakers.

A : No, I saw your face when you looked at yours.

I have an idea for a new ESPN series.

It could be about the evolution of the big halftime shows in the NFL.

The title could be:
TIT!

I do, but I like Hold'em. I would have rather had the people who made Rounders, make a part 2 of Rounders. M. Damon gets his cash and heads to Vegas, Worm never came back at the end of it. It was an open ending to make another.

The only ESPN movie I liked was A Season On The Brink. Not a huge Bobby Knight fan, and I think some people complained of how Brian Dennehy poorly portrayed Knight, but I don't care.

He did alright, the real issue was that they made him look like the old, fat, white-haired 1999 Bob Knight instead of mid-1980's Bob Knight.

SO why did they cancel "Playmakers" ?? Was it becasue of low ratings or their "Bread and Butter" , the NFL objected to it?? Ill probably check out "Tilt" Im sure they will only play it elevenvity Billion times like they did "3" over the holidays.
