I know im in the minority but I think they might have a decent shot. The Jets have a solid defense, solid ground game and their QB is much more experienced. If Pennington plays as well as he did against the Chargers, id say they have a real good shot at an upset.

Anything can happen at this stage. AFC homefield advantage throughout teams have lost 3 times in the past decade. :banghead:

As good as any -- I don't know how the jets will match up with Plexico

It is very possible, two good D's, two fairly low scoring O's. In tight games, one mistake can kill you, just ask Marty...

Nope. Steelers will crush 'em.

Any given Sunday...

That being said, there's no way.

Steelers are clearly the better team. But the jets have a chance since they have a good defense and a great running game as well as being an outdoor team.

Still I think its the Steelers game to loose but the NYJ definitly have a chance. Of all the home teams this weekend i think they have the lowest chance of being upset.

I also smell an upset in the Rams Vs. Falcons game. Rams by 2 TD's

Same here. I just dont think ATL and Vick are that good and STL will be on turf like they prefer. But Bruce being downgraded to questionable and the Stephen Jackson injury have made me think its kind of a tossup. My gut says STL will still manage to pull it off.

I could also see Minn upseting Philly.

This is easly the most i have looked foward to playoffs matcups without KC being involved. Im not pulling for any team in particuar but its going to be a great weeked :thumb:

I think the Rams are the perfect sleeper pick this weekend b/c of the dome factor.

I also really like the Vikings, but I don't trust them to be consistent 2 weeks in a row.

It's very likely 3 of 4 road teams could win... I'm guessing 2 will though.

I am betting on them.

Jets played well there and had it won for 3/4 of the way. Played well against the run and everything. I dont think the Steelers are the juggernaut everyone believes.

If I heard correctly .. the Jets have never won at PITT and they have little chance on Sunday unless Pennington is in "Manning form".

Atlanta can put up a good pass rush. I could see Martz getting pass happy and Bulger taking a real beating.

I agree with MHM that I like the Vikings chances, except that they are so inconsistent week to week.

I like the Colts chances. One of these times the Colts will beat the Pats. I think this time is as good as any.

I think the Steelers will handle the Jets fine. Hackett won't challenge the Steelers defense enough to put them under real pressure.

Steelers wil beat the Jets, no problem. St.Louis i think will beat Vick and the deadbirds. I would like to see the Vikings win over Philly. But they are not consistent. Colts over the Patriots.

Colts and Pats are the game of the weekend. IMO.

Not only do I think the Jets can win, I think they will win. I believe it's going to be a defensive game and low scoring. I picked all the underdogs on another thread earlier in the week. Jets, Colts, Vikes and Rams. :thumb:

Rothlesberger has had a good season, but the playoffs are a different beast, I think this game is a lot closer than it looks on paper.

Steelers win. Pats win. St Louis win. And last but not least Philly wins.
Of all of these I think Philly stands a good chance of being upset. They haven't played to win in 3 weeks. I am not so sure they are going to come out firing on all cylinders.

But I've become a fan of Chad's...I think he'll be a good one for a while to come.

Atlanta outright bitchslapped the Rams earlier in the season. The D was a wrecking crew. Vick was a wrecking crew, even though he didn't 'have to' be. I see the same tonight. Many instances of the terms 'O-Line' and 'beleaguered' in close proximity.

Atlanta rested beats Lambs in a high scoring close game.

NE beats Colts on a wet track slower game

Pit beats Jets on a wet track ball control game

Minn upsets Philly.

I'll have to say no the original question and take The Burgh.

Can they? Sure. When they played a few weeks ago they were in the game pretty much the whole way. They also handed Big Ben the worse game of his season (although it should be pointed out that the Steelers also got Pennington to play his worse game of the year).

I'll probably cheer for the Jets because I don't really care about either team and would like to see the underdog take it to the favorite. That said, I picked the Steelers to win.

Sure its possible, just not probable.

Supposedly, Pennington's shoulder is much better than it was in the earlier meeting between Pittsburgh and the Jets.
