I have some old home movies I would like to back-up to my PC and then burn to DVD. Is there an RCA or Coax cable - to - USB converter available? Or, a card that could be installed to a PC and accept a Caox or RCA cable? What software would be needed? I have a DVD burner and Nero.
Any tips would be appreciated.

Dazzle brand external USB video converters work well.

There is a lot of choices, stop buy Best Buy or Circuit City, they should have cards or converters.

Ask JennyGump. I think she's pretty good at this sort of thing.

Is the quality of the conversion good?
I would prefer to continue to use my old Video cam but I wonder if I would be better off just buying a new video cam.
Is the software easy to use?

a video card with capture will do the job. I used to run the vcr straight into the pc and record with an ati wonder card.
