I now need to get some work done. I have spent too much time on the Planet the last 2 weeks.

I don't understand how people can post 1,000 times in a day. you can't have that much stuff worth saying.

Not even ENDelt does that....I've had a couple of days, stuck at the computer...and managed a couple of hundred though. :shake:

I think the key is to have a lot of posts that say nothing, like just post a smilie in response to someone else.

I usually post a small number of times per day, but then once in a while I get caught in a political debate where it's like three or four people on the right and little ole helpless me on the left trying to hold the fort down against all of them.

Those running battles really ratchet up my post totals.

I wonder if there's a way to calculate "average words per post". I gotta be waaay the hell up there with my big mouth.....err, fingers, err....you know what I mean.

By Oct 2004 you had over 9000 posts and have had more than 5000 in the months since. 12K posts a year will get you up to the big boys rather quickly. Incidentally, in Oct 2003 you were the 183rd ranked poster, but had moved up to 50th one short year later. You have now moved up to 30th.
I on the other hand was ahead of you in October, but have had only 500 or so replies since. It was an idiotic attempt at winning my life back, but I just waste it now in other areas. I have fallen from 48th to 54th.

How do you figure this stuff out? :hmmm:

I knew teaching in the computer labs with pilot programs would give me a lot more time to "multi-task"...but, damn.... :hmmm:

Idiotic attempt?.....nah; "real" life is over-rated sometimes, but too much time here can drive you nutty too.... :p

I started a thread in October listing where the planet posters had come since the last year. I got the information a that time from Rain Man's thread on if Planet Members were cities.

I am supposed to be writing but cannot hit the keyboard to begin. Fear of success/failure.

Where we have come in a year's time (http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=100261)

Eh, I don't know about a 1000, but on gamedays lots of people certainly can get in the hundreds...
