So after KC ran him out of the CHiefs.....and Gunther was hired in his place.....We still sucked on defense.

So it wasnt really his fault like everyone said it was.

Also....this year the Chiefs played worse on defense than the year before

Soooo.....GROB>GUN

Maybe we can get GROB back...instead of having him go to Syracuse. . .

The interview had nothing to do with the Chiefs. I was listening and was saying "Why the heck is GROB getting interviewed?" Petro was nice too, I knew there was a reason I don't listen to him much.

No controversy can be started by such a ridiculous statement.

Anyone who thinks grob can out coach gun ain't too bright.

I agree with you, but it is also the same coach who fired the 2 ring having sack of poop and has had problems stopping the other.

Wasn't he fired one year after the 2nd of those rings. Methinks he really didn't have alot to do with the rings.

Anyone who thought that the problem was entirely coaching was bonkers. Unfortunately, our GM is bonkers.

The whole point is that this is professional football. The guys ON the field are the ones who win championships.

Which should be considered pretty good evidence that we need to retool our whole scouting and talent development portions of the Chiefs organization. Our defense sucks. Our offense rocks, but largely because of free agents we've signed. Green, Holmes, Wiegmann, Roaf, (whoever our RT was this year - Blackwell?), Kennison, and Morton were all free agent additions. That's 7 of 11 starters on offense. When you're relying that much on outside talent, either you can't hit the broadside of the barn in picking talent in the draft, or you're utterly failing to develop any of that talent properly.
