Who are these supporters of Schwarzenneger, and why would they want him in the White House?

Personally, I think it is going to be McCain vs. Hillary. McCain will smoke her if it comes down to between those two.

No way the GOP lets McCain be their front man.

No way the Dems let Hillary be their front man (if they are smart).

The Dems are in such disaray, it would be considered a major accomplishment to even get somebody out to vote for.

Yes. The Republicans only nominate hard core neo-cons these days.

I'm thinking Condi Rice vs. Hillary Clinton in 2008.

Personally, I think it is going to be McCain vs. Hillary. McCain will smoke her if it comes down to between those two.At this point in the ballgame, the only way McCain gets nominated at the top of a major party ticket is for him to become a Democrat. After his speach at the Rep convention, there is a better chance that they would nominate Mell Ziller. ;)

;)I would like to see a Gen X run for President in the next cycle.

The oldest of us just turned 40 and will be 44 in the next cycle.

I'd vote for McCain. I wouldn't vote for Hillary. No way she runs though. She is smarter than that. She knows that a woman must first break the VP barrier before one will ever run for President. And I just don't see he putting herself in a position where she knows she will lose.
