ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli reports New England Patriots CB Ty Law (foot) insisted Thursday, Feb. 3, that he would like to finish his career with the Patriots. However, he acknowledged the salary cap could bring an end to those plans. Law will turn 31 in February and is entering the final year of his contract in 2005. With a base salary of $9.75 million and a $1 million reporting bonus, he carries a salary cap charge of $12.5 million. With the Patriots being able to survive the loss of Law during 2004, they will likely not be inclined to pay him the money he is due, especially since he is coming off a serious foot injury.
