Says the Tigers can void his contract at any time if his knee condition flares up again... I'm surprised Boras agreed to that.

Is there some place where you can download baseball games? IT'S BEEN TOO LONG :deevee: :deevee:

you know, if the Royals had pursued Pudge Rodriguez, in stead of Beni'camel'to Sandiego and Juan Suckzolez...

our pitching staff might not be such pussies. And we could turn them into winners. Look what he did in Florida, I was so surprised that we wasnt willing to throw him 12-15 million, instead of wasting 7-8 million on Gonzalez and Benito. Man, Pudge Rodriguez, and keeping Raoooool Ibanez for 3 years @ $4mil, royals only offered 2. Mariners did for 3. :cuss:

That would have been a totally different fork in the road. We may have kept Beltran, and made it to the playoffs, who knows?

now I am sad.

Have, I ever mentioned all of my john schuerholz built-up anger? That is also quite a rant.

ROFL

we would have kept him for 2004 season... he was gone regardless, but 2004 could have been sweet.

It seems like every year, every one of my years... at the end of the season there is always a 'coulda' something.

Dammit. I saw the subject line and thought Quinn had been fired.

I'm suprised Boras let him go to a team outside of New York or California.

i am sad to see him go. I wish him nothing but the best in detroit, i liked mags quite a bit. All i want is someone to take away this team from stupid ken williams so the Sox can contend again.

You're a Broncos and White Sox fan? Wow... I think the only worse possible combination in the universe would be a Raiders/White Sox fan. :p

tk13, dont worry we will never be anything special for a long time. The Royals will probably win 4 division titles before Chicago does anything other than suckage or mediocrity. BTW, my other teams are: Miami (Fla.)(for college ball), and the Penguins and Devils in the NHL. NBA, i just root for whoever is playing against the Lakers.

Make him a KU fan and he'd have the tri-fecta :shake:

I see three ugly spots on Johan Santana's shoes, perhaps Greinke, Hernandez and Lima could break out their clothes to clean Johan's shoes up for his CY-YOUNG presentation ceremony. :p

I can't wait for the season to start...

There is a difference between picking up some bats to make the push and actually getting to the playoffs.

Anyway... good luck to the Royals... and F vck the Indians.

I can't either.... this week I've really started to get excited because football's about wound down and spring training is a couple weeks away. Plus we can finally put that abortion of last season behind us... and this year we'll get to see what I love watching, guys like Greinke, DeJesus, Buck and Teahen getting their chance to shine. I'm excited to see how the pitching scenario plays out.
