Actually, I heard he's going to the Chicken McNuggets. They both feel like being on the sauce most of the time.

Its NBA. Snyder is perfect for it. They play no defense, hardly anybody plays a zone, and he pays players.

Heh... so, does this mean there was a meeting someplace that included this line... "Hm, this guy hasn't been getting it done on the college level for a few years now. I think he's ready for his shot at the pros!"

If your a MU fan you would have to be waiting with baited breath for it to be confirmed. The potential joy would be overwhelming.

It IS the Nuggets we are talking about. Along with the Clippers, they do have standards.

Interesting. George Karl, Denver's coach is a hardcore UNC guy. Quin is a hardcore Duke guy.

Well, seems to be some doubt about it on TigerBoard.

Personally, I hope it's true. Probably be the most graceful situation for all involved, and it comes at a low time where we don't have much to lose as far as players that might transfer upon hearing the news.

Best of luck to Snyder, no personal animosity for him, just feel it wasn't working out and was time for a change. Hope he enjoys a lot of success in his future.

Now... what about candidates?

About 5-10 years to forget about all the embarassment they've brought upon themselves.

Based on that, one would think that K-State would be ready to compete around 2015 if they jettisoned their shitty coach

Hell, we've been losers for quite some time now. Losing is easy to get over. We didn't name our new arena after someone not even associated to the university, who then ended up being a cheater. We didn't have a PG named "Ricky Clemons." We aren't on probation. Well, I could go on and on...

That's probably the issue, that K-State fans are accustomed to losing, but it doesn't sit well with people who can remember Missouri being halfway competitive.

Congratulations on being the less terrible team...this year...

I understand that anyone who plays Missouri on a regular basis would be distraught at the news that Snyder might be out, so I'll just let you have your fun. Good luck almost finishing above us in the conference for the first time ever.

If Snyder was going to Denver, I'd rather him go coach the Broncos and screw up their franchise.

Now that would really be killing 2 birds with one stone. :)

All I know is the Tigers need to keep their mitts off of Kim Anderson. He's doing a pretty good job at CMSU and I'd like to keep him there awhile.

Broadcasting was just his hobby. His real cush job is as a financial planner in Columbia. Owns his own company.

We're Div II, we know we can't keep a decent coach when we get one...

We lost our baseball coach to K-State last year, and Kim will more than likely be in line for Mizzou after Quin goes bye bye.

It sucks, but as you say, nothing to loose sleep over. It's a fact of life here.

Hell yes, I'm worried about it.

Kim is a very popular former Mizzou player, he's done an outstanding job coaching the Mules the past few years and he's looking for a promotion/opportunity just like every other coach in the world.

I would not be surprised at all to see the Tigers try to snag him if/when Quin leaves.
