Word is Traylor will be available and wants to retire somewhere near his Arkansas roots.

Would you want him back?

Would you pay him by the tackle or by the pound?

I can't see how this could be true. He's with the Patriots, who have only 2 "true" Nose Guards if they want to continue playing the 3-4 -- namely Vince Wilfork and Keith Traylor. Traylor played well for us last year.

He's under contract with us for a pittance -- salary of $765K and pro rated SB of $237K (sunken cost).

I know we're trying to get younger on defense, but I really don't see this happening.

If NT Keith Traylor is not welcomed back to New England, we hear that he would like to close out his playing career somewhere closer to the Arkansas native's Southern roots.

I guess, but I don't see it.

In separate news, rumor is that Troy Brown's option won't be picked up, and he'll effectively become a free agent. Sadness throughout Patriot Nation if he does leave... :(

I think it would be cost prohibitive for the Chiefs to have him shipped all the way across the country.

I'd take him back. We should have never let him leave years ago.

"We got a long way to go, and a short time to get there....."

Where's Jerry Reed when you need him?

Could we perhaps scatter a trail of peanut butter cups from Mass to KC and allow him to graze his way back?
