Crap!!

So much for that Idea.

Just reported on NFL Network by Adam Schefter that Gold is a Donk again.

I don't want Gold in KC anyway...damaged goods.

Seriously. 71 tackles, half a sack and 1 interception. Fujita is better. We even got more production from Monty Beisel.

They signed a player in the first day of FA. They must not read the planet everyone knows waiting to sign players is the best thing to do. Good thing DV and CP are running our show they know how to work FA!

Gold doesn't count. Denver has enough LBs, but they've decided to watch all the DL get signed on Day 1.

Ok, now since Gold went back to Denver, lets go after Anthony Simmions if he gets released by Seattle which I hear that they are gonna cut him .....

The funny thing is Gold is back with Denver, but they will receive a 3rd round compensatory pick for losing Gold and Berry last season.

Dang I was hoping maybe we would try to sign Gold. Oh well so I guess this means you guys are going to play the 3-4 now.

So far the Raiders and the Broncos have made FA moves while our lovely Chiefs and the Chargers have made none. I hope this trend doesn't continue very long.

Hey, at least you know they're visiting with folks and renting limos.

The local radio shows are saying the Donx are moving towards a 4-3, but are pissed that the Donx won't talk about anything.

Simmons used to be a Chief...didn't he get cut immediately after the MNF meltdown?

The Donks already run a 4-3. They're talking about moving to a 3-4.

That's too bad. I had a bad feeling when I read earlier about them being interested in re-signing him.

I've got mixed feelings abour resigning Gold... He's an undersized SLB. We already have a kickass WLB. I'm hoping we are planning on playing him at SS, with the departure of Kenoy Kennedy.

Great observation!!! I wanted him until I saw the above. I'd agree with Kingless saying ... better to keep our own!!!
