Sounds routine to me. I'd worry if he said he was going immediately to visit other teams but if he's going to talk it over with his family it may be that he just wants to discuss moving to KC with them while the Chiefs and his agent try to hammer out something (or the Chiefs are stalling to talk with guys like Surtain and Law before finalizing an offer)...

Another team who operates like the Broncos, can't prevent someone from leaving town without a deal once they get there. That always feels great.

How?

Because I have no idea what's going on, and neither do you, that's why. If something doesn't ultimately happen, then let'r loose. Until then, get your panties out of their bunch and stop freaking out over every little tid bit that becomes available.

BTW, I wasn't singling you out. You have a lot of company in your current misery. :)

This isn't like the Hugh Douglas thing, Hugh Douglas said he was going to honor his visits.

Rolle doesn't have anymore visits. So overall, this is a good thing. He'll be a Chief.

Why do the guys on 810 have a totally different sense of the Rolle PC?

They are stoked and talking about how exciting it is... that Rolle is going back for his daughter's birthday, but plans on things being "wrapped up" tomorrow.

It's not like Keitzman is any less jaded than anyone here on the Planet?

wutamess
03-03-2005, 04:30 PM
Well actually they asked him was he going to visit other teams and he implied that he wasn't. That's the kicker which basically says... the ball is in our court.

I got a good vibe out of his interview.

I don't think that this is necessarily bad. The only team mentioned as in the market for him thusfar was most likely a bargaining chip for him and for the Skins to use on their own player. He's had one offer so far and its from us. Many teams are not going after the CBs because they don't think it will do them any good given the current rules. IMO, they can't call it as tight as they did last year and still call it football. Otherwise it will take Peyton 5 years to smash every record in the book. He's gotten one offer and wants to think it over. Its not always a quick thing. If it was then we probably overpaid.

Alot of you high strung fuggers need to rub one out and chill.

I'd rather they take their time, look at the Options of guys that are making visits, and get the best player who wants to be here, for the best price.

It makes sense to at least look at Hartwell and Bell if Trotter has a gimpy knee. It doesn't mean that they can't Up the offer after these guys leave(if not sign.)

Don't discount the wife's influence.

Mason decided to take the lower offer from Baltimore because his wife preferred to live in Baltimore than Boston.
