ROFL I dare not think of what you'd wish him if he was an a-hole.

Agreed. Great back-up/change-of-pace back. I just don't see him evolving into a full time RB.

With Jordan leaving and Martin not getting any younger, this is a great opportunity for Blaylock. Guess I will need a new adopt-a-chief next season.

The thread 7 spots down is reporting the same thing.

Kinda surprised that OAK wouldn't have looked at Blaylock as well b/f dumping that $ on Jordan.

I don't think there was ever any doubt he would move on, but I'm surprised it was the Jets. I thought he might go somewhere where he would get the chance to compete for the starters job. He'll get his fair share of carries in NY, but he won't be the main man for another year at the very least!

I really wish that guy the best...I met him once and he was genuinley a very enjoyable person to be around...I also like the fact that he signed with a team I don't hate.

Nope, that would have been stupid. No one's going to give up draft picks for a backup RB.

Exactly.

Hopefully Herm finds a way for him and Martin to double team the Colts for about 300 yards...

Good for Derrick. I wish him the best of luck he always carried himself with class, which is saying something for an NFL player these days.
