I am doubting his accuracy, especially since KC doesnt publish their contracts etc.

$31 Million for Minnesota, can you say TOGA TOGA!!

Not sure how that is accurate.

The statement that Carl Peterson himself released said that after they make the roster moves that they anticipated making, they would have around 4.5 million in cap space.

Im just about sick of these reports anyway. From Trotter being "All but a Lock" to sign with the Chiefs, and "A deal being imminent", to them not knowing anything about anybody around there just makes me want them to just STFU until they have something concrete.

If its true that the Chiefs only have 2.7 million, we are royally f'ked. Theres no way we sign what we need in FA and still sign our draft picks with that.

I've heard that doesn't include contract incentives that weren't reached. Plus we'll make a few cuts before June.

He's been doing this for years and never been sued and keeps publising these figures. ESPN isn't the Washington Post but they don't knowingly publish false info.

Yeah, because I'm sure he doesn't have any sources from the league... He probably just comes up with these numbers using a calculator, a newspaper, and KFFL.com...

I think he was due like 8 or 9 million this year. The Vikes were well under the cap last season, and did little to improve their team, much to the chagrin of fans up here. Red is very cheap and has been looking to sell the team for years now. He hasn't invested any real money in the team the last few seasons, which is why the sale of the team is a very good thing for Vikings fans.

The Vikings remind me so much of the Chiefs, it's scary. Similar FOs, similar team strengths/weaknesses, similar fates. I'm hoping the Chiefs buck that trend this year, but I'm not holding my breath...

he doesn't need them to get a general estimate

all the contract numbers etc are available through the NFL players association.

I knew he couldn't post those numbers every year without having the backing of the NFL or the NFLPA.

yep... the NFLPA wants those numbers out there so that the players agents can push the contract competition.

they "leak" them all the time
