I knew I was having an effect on this forum, I knew it!!! All jokes aside, Beasley is in awesome form right now. People always go on about Donovan (seating on the bench in Leverkusen) and Adu (jury is still out). Beasley is the real deal, I wouldn't be surprised if an EPL or La Liga side picked him up in the next few years...

People always go on about Donovan (seating on the bench in Leverkusen)Hey now, homeboy. Landon's still getting acclimated to playing with Leverkusen, but he's done well when he's been on the field. Problem is, Ponte's hit a run of good form (probably in part due to the presence of a challenger for his spot) lately, but Landon should eventually overtake him. A good game in his start against Liverpool in the CL on Wednesday would probably help him get a foothold.

Had a nice sort-of assist (pinged it off a defender in a pass attempt and it bounced to Berbatov; AND1 announcer guy's response: "OH, BABY!") to break the 0-0 stalemate on Sunday against Stuttgart (got to watch it live on a Chinese TV stream :D). ****ing ridiculous game, on the whole, from the crazy saves that were forced and end to end action (I still can't believe it stayed 0-0 until the 80th minute) to the horseshit PK they awarded Stuttgart for Kuranyi's leap onto the back of a Leverkusen defender.

DMB's just been awesome, though. Not that it hurts to go to one of the powerhouse teams of a league and instantly be a fixture in the starting lineup, but he's shined beyond the telling of it.

Alright, alright, but I want to see the goals I know he's capable of scoring before the end of the season. I think he'll get the opportunity to shine, I just hope he takes it. Your right about DWB though, he's class.

One more for Da Beaz in PSV's 2-0 win (3-0 aggregate) over AS Monaco in the Champions League. He was subbed in just two minutes before scoring. :D

They're moving on to the CL Quarterfinals along with Chelsea, Milan, Juventus, Liverpool, Lyon, Bayern Munich, and the winner of Inter-Porto.

DaMarcus Beasley and PSV have clinched the Dutch Eredivisie championship with a 3-0 win over Vitesse on Saturday. Toss in the Amstel Cup, in which they advanced to the final after beating Feyenoord (and fellow American Cory Gibbs) on penalties after a DMB goal in the 89th minute to tie things up, and the Champions League semifinal matchup against AC Milan, and their quest for the treble is still very much alive.

Hell of a debut season for DMB.

Oh, and by the way, forget what I said in Donovan's defense. He's an insecure little bitch who had to run home after three months because he was struggling to earn a spot. He misses NO MLS action and, instead of returning to the place he's played pretty much his entire career (unless you count the first terrible years in the Leverkusen youth system), he Benedict Arnolds them for their biggest rival.

**** you, Landon.

This HORRIBLE ****ing tackle occured today:

http://www.psv.nl/upload/78128_296_1114804921450-0405-FCTPSVBeasley385.jpg

It was initially feared he would be done for a long, long time (understandably; looked even worse on video, according to those who saw it on ESPNews). Now PSV is saying he'll be ready to go in the second leg against Milan next week. Holy shit, he really is Gumby. It goes without saying that a long injury would have been horrible for everyone involved, from DMB to PSV to the USMNT.

He's just a gutless bitch who only wants to play where he's The Man. Kudos to Beasley, Convey, O'Brien, etc. who are trying to make it happen in Europe.

Ajax has sucked since like 97. They used to be the premiere club. Ajax vs Juventus used to have the best matches EVAR! I don't care how shitty Ajax is doing now, they own any other Dutch team FRO LIFE 11!!!
